Elon Musk’s Daughter Vivian Responds to Comment About Her “Real Voice”

Elon Musk‘s estranged daughter is humoring her critics.

Okay, so this total stranger had the nerve to ask Vivian Wilson – my Vivian, honestly – to prove her voice was ‘real’! Like, can you believe the audacity? Vivian, who is such an incredible person – she came out as trans at sixteen and fought for the care she deserved – just totally shut them down with a witty response. It was amazing! She just doesn’t let anyone get her down, and I’m so proud of her for handling it perfectly.

The 21-year-old responded to the question with a TikTok video posted on October 27th. In the video, she’s wearing a green hoodie and her long blonde hair is flowing down her back.

Vivian—the daughter of Justine Wilson, who was once married to a prominent tech executive—readily agreed to share what she considers her authentic self. However, she quickly added, “You asked for this reaction, and frankly, I’m really bored.”

The model started playing the music for Stray Kids’ song “God’s Menu” and playfully tried to imitate the rap verse by Lee Felix.

“Cooking like a chef,” she rapped in a low voice, “I’m a five-star Michelin.”

Vivian, one of Elon Musk’s fourteen children, clarified that she was just joking in her post, saying she was struggling to keep from laughing while writing it.

After Vivian’s witty response, her fans were amazed by how well she imitated the musician’s voice.

One TikTok user exclaimed, “Someone get this girl a voice acting job!” Another commented on her impressive vocal abilities, writing, “Her range is incredible!”

Another quipped, “Hmmm we never saw you and Felix in the same room.”

Vivian often uses humor to respond to criticism about who she is. She’s talked about learning to navigate online challenges and defend herself from a young age.

Vivian told Teen Vogue that she’s quick-witted. She explained that spending the COVID lockdown in online LGBTQ+ communities—where disagreements and playful banter were common—helped her develop a fast, funny, and sometimes sarcastic way of responding to people.

I’ve always been fascinated by Maye’s story. She actually started her life in Saskatchewan, Canada, but her family moved to Pretoria, South Africa when she was just a little girl – only seven years old, back in 1950. Later on, she and Errol Musk, Elon’s dad, went their separate ways in 1979.

Maye became a Canadian citizen by birthright shortly after Elon moved to Canada at age 17. She then built a career in Canada, becoming a dietician and eventually President of the Consulting Dieticians of Canada, while also working as a model.

After selling his company Zip2 for over $300 million in 2019, Elon Musk bought an apartment in New York City for his mother. She lived there for 13 years and continued her modeling work, even signing with the IMG Models agency.

In an essay for CNBC, Maye explained that she raised her children with the same values her parents instilled in her: independence, kindness, honesty, consideration for others, and good manners. She also emphasized the importance of hard work and doing what’s right.

Elon’s father is an engineer and like Elon, was born in South Africa.

Errol Musk mentioned in a 2015 Forbes interview that he frequently traveled abroad with his children—explaining that he raised them after a young divorce. However, his relationship with his son, Elon, isn’t always smooth.

In a candid 2017 interview with Rolling Stone, Elon Musk spoke openly about his difficult childhood and his relationship with his father. He explained that after his parents divorced, living with his father proved to be a negative experience.

However, Errol told Rolling Stone, “I love my children and would readily do whatever for them.”

After his divorce from Maye, Errol married Heide, who had a four-year-old daughter named Jana Bezuidenhout. Errol and Heide later had two daughters of their own, but they eventually separated as well.

Oh my gosh, it’s just… everything makes so much sense now! Apparently, after all this time, Jana actually contacted Errol when she was going through a really tough breakup. He said in an interview – I have it saved, of course! – that they were both just… lost and lonely. And honestly? He said it just happened. Like fate, or something bigger than them, brought them together. It’s just… perfect. I knew there was a reason!

The couple fell in love and had a son, Elliott, in 2017, followed by a daughter in 2019. Errol explained to The Sun that he believes the purpose of life is to have children, saying he would gladly have more if he could, as he sees no reason not to.

Born in 1972, Kimbal is a restaurant owner and the creator of The Kitchen, a group of five restaurants committed to using ingredients directly from local farms. He also leads Big-Green, a non-profit organization that has established 200 educational gardens in schools throughout the United States.

Tosca, a filmmaker born in 1974, created Passionflix in 2017. Passionflix is a streaming service designed for women and focuses on adapting popular romance novels – a market worth over a billion dollars.

Elon Musk married Justine Wilson, his college sweetheart from Queen’s University in Ontario, in 2000. In a 2010 article for Marie Claire titled “I Was a Starter Wife: Inside America’s Messiest Divorce,” Justine recalled that Elon told her, “I am the alpha in this marriage” while they were dancing at their wedding reception.

At the time, I didn’t think much of it,” Justine explained, “much like I later dismissed signing the postnuptial agreement. But I eventually realized he was being genuine about what he said.”

Justine and her partner experienced a devastating loss when their baby son, Nevada Alexander, tragically passed away in 2002 at just 10 weeks old due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). As Justine described, Nevada was put down for a nap on his back – as they always did – and simply stopped breathing.

After struggling to conceive, the couple used IVF and eventually had five more children: twins Vivian and Griffin, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian.

In 2008, Elon filed for divorce.

In 2022, Elon Musk brought his children, Griffin and the triplets, to meet Pope Francis. Although he was thrilled to meet the leader of the Catholic Church, Elon jokingly described his suit as “tragic.”

In 2022, Griffin’s twin sister also petitioned the court to legally change her name to reflect her gender identity. As part of this process, she stated she wanted no further contact or legal connection with their biological father.

During a July 2024 interview with Jordan Peterson on Daily Wire, Elon Musk discussed his daughter’s gender transition. He stated he felt like he had lost his son, and referred to his child by her birth name, saying she had been affected by what he called the “woke mind virus.”

He claimed he was misled into signing medical paperwork that allowed Vivian to receive gender-affirming care.

Vivian disagreed with his statements, telling NBC News, “He wasn’t tricked at all. He was fully aware of the potential side effects.”

In a 2025 interview with Teen Vogue, Vivian shared that she moved from Los Angeles to Japan and hasn’t spoken to her father since 2020. She described him as immature, stating, “I’m not afraid of him just because he has money. Money means nothing to me.”

Elon and Talulah, both known for their roles on HBO’s Westworld, got married in 2010. Talulah later told CBS News that things moved quickly – they were engaged after only about two weeks of dating.

The couple first divorced in 2012, then surprised everyone by getting back together and remarrying in 2013. However, they divorced again in 2016. More recently, in June 2024, Talulah married Thomas Brodie-Sangster, who is known for his role in the film Love Actually.

Elon Musk and Amber Heard began dating publicly in early 2017. This followed Amber’s divorce from Johnny Depp and Elon’s second divorce from Talulah Riley, but their relationship didn’t last very long.

In a November 2017 interview with Rolling Stone, Elon Musk revealed he had recently gone through a breakup. He admitted he was deeply in love and that the split was very painful, adding that his girlfriend had initiated the breakup more than he did.

Elon Musk and the singer Grimes had an on-again, off-again relationship for four years, beginning in 2018. In September 2021, Musk told Page Six they were essentially separated, explaining that his work with SpaceX and Tesla kept him mostly in Texas or abroad, while Grimes’ work was based in Los Angeles. At the time, he said she was staying with him, and their child was nearby.

In March 2022, she told Vanity Fair that they live in separate homes but remain close as best friends.

She later shared on Twitter that she and E had broken up again as of the time of the article, but they remain best friends and she still considers him the love of her life. She added that her life and work are now fully focused on ‘The Mission’.

In September 2023, it was revealed that the couple had three children. The singer confirmed this, naming their newest child Techno Mechanicus, joining big brother X Æ A-12 and sister Exa Dark Sideræl.

In November 2024, Grimes shared that she had been involved in a year-long legal struggle in a state with unfavorable laws regarding parental rights. She claimed her Instagram posts and modeling work were used against her in a custody dispute, all while she was experiencing a painful separation from the person she loved, who she felt was changing into someone she didn’t recognize.

Despite being severely limited in what she could bring to bear, she was denied access to one of her children for five months. She explained that this was only the part of her story she could share publicly, as much of what she’d experienced over the past few years needed to remain private.

In 2020, Elon Musk and Grimes had a son. They originally chose a unique name, but had to simplify the spelling to comply with California law, which only allows English letters. They ultimately named him X Æ A-Xii.

Grimes shared the meaning behind her child’s unique name on social media. ‘X’ represents an unknown variable, while ‘Æ’ is her elven-inspired way of spelling ‘AI,’ which stands for either love or artificial intelligence. ‘A-12’ is a reference to the SR-17 aircraft, her favorite plane. She emphasized that the concept is about speed and capability, not weaponry or defense – powerful in a fight, but ultimately non-violent.

Grimes continued, “A=Archangel, my favorite song” adding a rat and sword emoji. “Metal rat.”

Grimes shared in a 2022 interview with Vanity Fair that she and Elon Musk secretly had a daughter through surrogacy.

She explained that ‘Exa’ comes from the computing term ‘exaFLOPS,’ which means being able to perform a quintillion calculations every second. ‘Dark,’ she continued, represents the unknown – something people often fear, but it’s simply the lack of light. Dark matter, then, is one of the most fascinating mysteries of the universe.

Okay, so my mom came up with this word, Sideræl – it’s pronounced like ‘sigh-deer-ee-el’, and it’s basically her way of describing real time, not just how we experience it here on Earth. She says it’s the time of the universe, of the stars, of deep space! It’s so cool. And get this – it’s named after Galadriel from Lord of the Rings! She loves that character and says Sideræl is like when Galadriel decides to give up the ring, you know, choose a different path. It’s just… perfect, honestly.

Walter Isaacson revealed in his biography Elon Musk that Exa was born in December 2021 via surrogate.

The book reveals that around Father’s Day 2022, the couple—who had an on-and-off relationship—welcomed a son named Techno Mechanicus, but they call him Tau. The baby was born through surrogacy, and the book features a June 2022 photo of Elon feeding him.

Grimes has repeatedly asked both the public and the father of her children to keep their lives private, even exploring legal options. In a 2025 social media post, she expressed serious concern about the lack of privacy her children experience, stating she thinks about the issue daily and finds it frustrating that there’s no effective solution.

In 2022, court records revealed that Elon Musk had twins with Shivon Zilis, an executive at his company Neuralink. The twins were born in Austin, Texas, where Musk resides.

He also commented on the report on X, stating he’s “doing his best to help the underpopulation crisis” and believes a declining birth rate is the most significant threat to civilization.

“Mark my words,” he added, “they are sadly true.”

The 2023 biography of Elon Musk revealed the full names of his twins: Strider Sekhar Sirius and Azure Astra Alice.

Elon Musk and Shivon Zilis had their third child together on February 28, 2024. Musk confirmed the news in June, telling Page Six that while they hadn’t issued a formal announcement, it wasn’t a secret from those close to them. He explained that the lack of a press release didn’t mean they were trying to hide anything.

A year after opening, Shivon wrote on Twitter, “Happy birthday, Arcadia! I love you so much.”

The classic poem goes, “Roses are red, violets are blue,” and on Valentine’s Day in 2025, conservative personality Ashley St. Clair had some news to share.

Author Shivon Zilis announced on X (formerly Twitter) February 14th that she and Elon Musk had a son, Romulus, five months ago. She named him after the legendary founder of Rome. Zilis explained she had kept the birth private to protect her child, but recent reports suggested the media was planning to reveal the information regardless of the potential harm to the child.

She explained that she wants their child to have a safe and typical upbringing. Therefore, she requested that the media respect their child’s privacy and avoid intrusive coverage.

Following reports that her representative asked Elon Musk to publicly recognize his role as a father to their child, she claimed he reduced the financial support he provides. This led Musk to respond to the accusations on social media.

He posted on X on March 31st that he’s unsure if he’s the father of the child, but he’s open to finding out. He also revealed he’s already given Ashley $2.5 million and sends her an additional $500,000 each year.

I was shocked to read a recent article in the Wall Street Journal detailing a reported offer made to Elon Musk’s ex, Ashley. Apparently, a member of his team, Jared Birchall, allegedly offered her a substantial $15 million plus $100,000 a month in child support. The report suggests this was offered in exchange for her keeping quiet about their child. It’s a really complex situation, and the details are quite surprising.

However, Ashley said she told him, “I don’t want my son to feel like he’s a secret.”

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! Elon and Shivon just announced they had a baby boy! His name is Seldon Lycurgus – isn’t it amazing? They shared the news while celebrating their third child’s first birthday, which is just… the sweetest! I’m absolutely obsessed with this family and their unique naming choices. Seldon Lycurgus! I can’t stop saying it!

I recently chatted with Elon, and with our beautiful Arcadia celebrating her birthday, we decided it felt right to share a little about our amazing son, Seldon Lycurgus. He’s truly something special – strong and powerful, but with the kindest heart. I just love him so much!

Elon responded with a heart emoji.
