Kim Kardashian Shares Update After Brain Aneurysm Diagnosis

Kim Kardashian is staying on top of her health.

Following her reveal on the premiere of The Kardashians that she has a small brain aneurysm, Kim Kardashian shared an update on how she’s doing.

Kim revealed on October 28th during an appearance on Good Morning America that she underwent a Prenuvo scan, which led to further brain scans at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center with a team of doctors.

She added, “And so, just tune in next week, but everything works out.”

Kim didn’t share specifics about her medical scan, but she stressed how important it is to be well-informed about your own health.

She emphasized the importance of always double-checking things, adding that taking care of your health is crucial, and you should be cautious in all your activities.

On the October 22nd episode of their show, Kim shared with her sister Kourtney Kardashian that she had a health issue, shortly after getting checked by a doctor.

In a trailer released on October 22nd, Kim revealed she was experiencing a small aneurysm. The clip showed her undergoing an MRI scan where the issue was found, and doctors initially attributed it to stress.

The revelation caused her older sister to audibly gasp and say, “Whoa.”

In a particularly emotional moment, Kim breaks down in tears, questioning, “Why is this happening to me?”

Kim Kardashian, who has four children – North (12), Saint (9), Chicago (7), and Psalm (6) – with Kanye West, also revealed another health problem related to the difficulties following their 2022 divorce.

Kim Kardashian noticed her psoriasis was returning, saying it hadn’t flared up since her divorce. She explained it seems to happen when she’s feeling stressed or overwhelmed.

Kim, who finalized her divorce from the well-known rapper in 2022 after six years together, shared that his accusations about her limiting his access to their children caused extra stress, especially because one of the children overheard his statements.

In a private moment, she confessed that she’d kept something hidden for a long time. She explained that she used to feel a strange sense of loyalty – almost like Stockholm syndrome – where she constantly felt guilty, protective, and driven to help. This was the first time she didn’t feel personally responsible.

The actress from All’s Fair prioritized her well-being by choosing to protect her peace of mind.

“I can’t stress too much about that,” she explained. I have to worry about other things.”

Nikki Bella, known from Total Bellas, shared that one of her breast implants moved after being hit during the elbow of fellow wrestler Piper Niven in a match back in July 2025.

She reassured her sister, Bella Garcia, saying they would get the issue resolved eventually. She explained to the doctor that as soon as she retired from her current job, she’d return to address the problem and ensure everything looked its best, anticipating future use and wanting it to be presentable.

I was so saddened to learn that Lupita Nyong’o was diagnosed with uterine fibroids back in 2014. It’s tough to think about her dealing with that while also experiencing the incredible high of winning her Oscar for 12 Years a Slave that same year. Uterine fibroids are these non-cancerous growths that can develop in or around the uterus, and it must have been a really challenging time for her.

She didn’t share her diagnosis until 2025, when she revealed on Instagram that she had been privately struggling with it for over ten years.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve noticed a really common issue: so many of us are taught from a young age that periods should be painful. We’re almost led to believe it’s just something we have to deal with as women, and it leaves us feeling like we’re struggling through it all on our own. It’s time to change that narrative – period pain isn’t something we just accept, and you definitely don’t have to go through it alone.

In July 2025, the actress from Daisy Jones & The Six revealed she was hospitalized for a hernia. This happened because she had been wearing pants that were too tight, which caused a gap in her abdominal muscles.

Someone messaged Suki on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “You haven’t tweeted in a while!” They then jokingly added, “Have you ever thought maybe I wore pants so tight six months ago that I got a hernia and have been too afraid to mention it?”

The former star of Beverly Hills, 90210 shared in April 2025 that he was recovering from surgery to fix a nearly ruptured appendix.

Brian shared in an Instagram video that he recently experienced stomach pain which led him to the emergency room. He explained that his appendix had a hole in it – it hadn’t fully burst, but was very close to doing so.

He added, “I’m on the road to recovery. It’s not an easy process. This is my first major surgery.”

During a soccer game against Seattle Reign on September 14th at Lumen Field in Seattle, a midfielder from Racing Louisville collapsed after only a few minutes of play.

According to Reuters, the U.S. Women’s National Team player was seen slowly sitting down on the field with a teammate supporting her, before suddenly collapsing. Trainers were immediately called to assess her condition.

As a huge fan of women’s soccer, I was really concerned to hear about Savannah’s injury. Thankfully, the NWSL reported that she received immediate medical attention right on the field and was quickly taken to a nearby hospital for a thorough check-up. The good news is, they’ve confirmed she’s currently stable and alert, which is such a relief to hear! We’re all sending her our best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Adam Devine revealed that injuries from being hit by a cement truck at age 11 continue to cause him problems now.

“It’s been incredibly difficult,” Devine shared on the In Depth With Graham Bensinger podcast in 2025. “I’ve been experiencing spasms all over my body, and doctors recently told me I was facing a life-threatening situation—within the last year, actually.”

Oh my gosh, he actually talked about it! He admitted that he doesn’t feel great all the time, which, honestly, makes him even more relatable! He said the pain comes and goes, and he just… casually mentioned that his body has ‘things that are a little wonky and a little wrong.’ It’s just… so real! I feel so connected to him knowing he deals with stuff too, even if it’s just little things. It makes him even more perfect, honestly!

The reality TV star revealed he had to crawl to the hospital because of severe back pain that worsened during a road trip with a friend.

He described a lingering tingling sensation in his knees and toes as of March 2025, sharing this on his Trading Secrets podcast. He explained that just a few weeks or a month prior, he was able to squat 295 pounds, but now he can’t even do a basic squat or stand on one foot without falling. He compared the feeling to having had a stroke.

But with the help of a back specialist and some steroids, he added, “We’re on the mend.”

As many of you know, I share a lot of my life, and I wanted to let you know that my ex-husband, Matt, had a heart attack back in March of this year. It was a really scary time, but thankfully, he pulled through and is doing much better now. It really puts things into perspective, doesn’t it?

In March 2025, the actor known for 30 Rock experienced a medical issue at a New York Knicks game and had to be helped out of Madison Square Garden.

The comedian later posted on social media to explain he’d actually gotten food poisoning and was starting to feel better.

In February 2025, the former Even Stevens star revealed she was shot in the face during a birthday celebration for her husband, Brendan Rooney. They were on a trip to go clay pigeon shooting when the incident occurred.

In an Instagram post, she explained that she was accidentally shot in the face by someone at a party who fired a gun unsafely. Brendan Rooney quickly helped her, evaluated her injuries, and drove her to the hospital. She was hit five times, and one bullet narrowly missed her right eye, coming within an inch of a direct hit.

The Kim Possible actress explained that a small piece of something got stuck behind her eye. Doctors have advised against removing it with surgery right now, and they’ll keep monitoring her vision, which is currently normal.

The actress expressed immense gratitude for surviving. She shared how much she loves her daughters, husband, family, and friends, explaining that experiencing a near-death moment made her realize how precious life is. She urged everyone to cherish their loved ones and hug them whenever possible, because things can change so quickly.

Amy Schumer is grateful for the internet, despite its often negative side, because it helped her discover a health issue. After noticing she looked “puffier,” Schumer was surprised to see doctors commenting on her appearance online, suggesting she might have Cushing syndrome. They pointed out changes in her face that prompted her to realize she’d been getting steroid injections after a breast reduction and C-section – injections that ultimately caused the condition. Schumer explained that she wouldn’t have known about the problem if not for the online comments. She recently shared that she’s relieved to have a form of Cushing syndrome that will resolve on its own and that she is healthy.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen firsthand how quickly things can change, and recently, it hit very close to home. Back in December 2024, my son, who plays in the AHL, suffered a scary injury during a game – he was cut by a skate and needed 25 stitches! Thankfully, he’s fully recovered now, and it was such a relief. Honestly, going through that as a parent was incredibly tough, and it’s something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. It really puts things into perspective.

In March 2022, Hailey Bieber experienced a frightening health scare while having breakfast with her husband, Justin Bieber. She suddenly started having stroke-like symptoms, struggling to speak and noticing her face drooping. Although these symptoms eventually subsided, she went to the hospital for testing. Doctors discovered she had a small blood clot in her brain, which they identified as a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack), often called a ‘mini-stroke’. Further investigation at UCLA revealed Hailey had a hole in her heart called a patent foramen ovale (PFO). This hole allowed the blood clot to travel to her brain, causing the TIA. Thankfully, Hailey had a successful procedure to close the PFO and is now doing well.

The same year Hailey faced a health issue, Justin also experienced one. In June 2022, he revealed he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a condition that caused temporary paralysis on one side of his face. This forced him to cancel the remaining dates of his Justice World Tour.

In a video posted to Instagram, Justin explained that the virus affected the nerves in his ear and face, preventing him from blinking, smiling, or moving his nostril on the affected side. He also mentioned it became increasingly difficult for him to eat.

Fortunately, the paralysis eventually disappeared. Hailey shared on Good Morning America that Justin was recovering well, stating it had been a frightening and unexpected situation, but he was going to be okay and she was thankful he was fine.

Jamie Foxx recently shared details about the serious health scare he experienced in April 2023, which he had previously kept private. In his 2024 Netflix special, What Had Happened Was…, Foxx explained that he was suffering from a severe headache when he suddenly lost consciousness. He doesn’t remember the next twenty days.

Initially, a doctor gave him a cortisone shot and sent him home, but his sister, Deidra Dixon, was worried and took him to the hospital. There, they discovered he had a brain bleed that resulted in a stroke.

After surgery, twenty days passed before Foxx woke up on May 4th. He was in a wheelchair and unable to walk, so he went to Chicago for rehabilitation and therapy.

Foxx expressed his gratitude for the prayers he received, saying, “I needed every prayer.”

The reality TV star shared that she briefly stopped breathing while running a mile during the first challenge on the NBC competition show.

She shared on the show Fit for TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser that her memory of the event was fragmented. She recalled hearing a helicopter, feeling like she was floating, and then seeing her grandfather. After that, she remembered only darkness, followed by light, leading her to realize she had died that day.

She explained that her organs were failing. She hadn’t known she had rhabdomyolysis, a condition where the body essentially starts to shut down.

Emilia Clarke, known for her role in Game of Thrones, revealed a harrowing health battle in a 2019 essay for The New Yorker. While filming the show, she experienced a severe headache at the gym, which quickly escalated. She described becoming violently ill and realizing something was seriously wrong with her brain.

A hospital scan revealed she had suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), a life-threatening stroke caused by a ruptured aneurysm. She immediately underwent surgery to repair it, but the pain was excruciating. During her recovery, she struggled with aphasia, leaving her unable to speak clearly.

Though she left the hospital after a month, a 2013 scan revealed the aneurysm had grown and required a second surgery. This procedure failed, causing a major bleed, and doctors warned her survival was at risk. They had to perform a more invasive surgery, accessing her brain directly through her skull.

Fortunately, Emilia is now fully recovered and says she is “at a hundred per cent.”

Cori Broadus, Snoop Dogg’s daughter, recently shared how much she appreciates her family’s support after a health scare. In January 2024, Cori suffered a stroke and immediately reached out to her loved ones. “I texted them that I just had a stroke and sent them a picture,” she told Will Marfuggi of TopMob News in December 2024. “Everybody just came to my rescue.”

Cori ended up staying in the hospital longer than expected due to other health issues. She explained that while she could have gone home after the stroke, her lupus and kidney problems were also serious.

Fortunately, Cori is now recovering well. “I’m doing great,” she said. “I just had a little bit of motor skills that I had to work back on. But other than that, I was fine.”

Shailene Woodley struggled with her health throughout her early twenties. In a September 2024 podcast interview, she described a time when she was losing her hearing, unable to walk for more than a few minutes without needing to rest for hours, and experiencing constant stomach pain. She faced confusing and conflicting diagnoses from different doctors.

Determined to find answers, Woodley, who has a background in herbalism, sought help from both traditional doctors and alternative healers. This search for well-being lasted for ten years.

The physical discomfort led to deeper issues, including fear of food and struggles with body image, identity, and feeling safe in her own body.

Fortunately, Woodley has since recovered and is now in good health. She expressed her happiness to be feeling well again after a long journey of healing both her physical and mental health.
