Fans are constantly impressed by the ongoing final season of My Hero Academia as the fight against All For One reaches a fever pitch. This concluding arc is the most intense and extended in the series, pushing heroes to their absolute limits with devastating injuries and losses. The animation is receiving widespread acclaim, with animators thrilled to bring the story’s exciting moments to life. Following a ten-year run, the manga finished its serialization last year, and the anime is quickly approaching its conclusion. The season began with a surprise return – Katsuki Bakugo, who appeared to have died in Season 7 after being critically wounded by Tomura Shigaraki.
Fans were thrilled by his surprising return to action, as he rejoined the fight against All For One after rescuing All Might. While the exact number of episodes in the final season is still unknown, it’s likely to have between 11 and 13, now that the story is wrapping up. The studio hasn’t announced the episode count, but the anime’s official website did reveal that the final season will be released on Blu-ray in two parts. And even as the anime nears its conclusion, a major anime and manga convention in Japan has some exciting announcements planned for fans.
Jump Festa 2026 Confirms Exciting My Hero Academia News

Since 1999, Shueisha has hosted a yearly anime and manga convention every December, drawing large crowds of fans. The two-day event focuses exclusively on Shonen series published in Shueisha’s magazines – including Weekly Shonen Jump, Jump Square, V Jump, Saikyo Jump, and the Shonen Jump+ online platform. Attendees can expect announcements about upcoming anime, manga, and games, along with interactive displays and exclusive merchandise only available at the convention. It’s a great way to finish the year with the latest news about popular series.
Jump Festa 2026 is happening on December 20th and 21st, 2025, and My Hero Academia will have a major presentation on the first day. The official Jump Festa website promises a big announcement called “Plus Ultra,” but details are being kept secret until the event. Fans can also look forward to seeing the main voice actors there, including Daiki Yamashita (Izuku Midoriya), Nobuhiko Okamoto (Katsuki Bakugo), Ayane Sakura (Ochako Uraraka), Yuji Kaji (Shoto Todoroki), and Kenta Miyake (All Might).
The website features messages from the voice actors of My Hero Academia, all expressing their enthusiasm for the show. The official announcement will take place between 11:40 AM and 12:10 JST, but news is expected to spread quickly worldwide. New episodes of the final season are released every Saturday on Crunchyroll and Netflix, where you can also watch all seven previous seasons.
