Fergie is flyin’ first class to Georgia.
Former Black Eyed Peas member performed as a surprise guest during Ludacris’ set at ONE Musicfest in Atlanta on October 26th, bringing back memories of their exciting musical collaboration.
Ludacris, whose real name is Christian Brian Bridges, shared a video on Instagram on October 27th of him performing their 2006 hit “Glamorous” with Fergie, age 50. He captioned the post, “We got Fergie out the house! Atlanta went crazy! Love to my Sis.”
During the performance, singer Fergie (born Stacey Ann Ferguson) sang the well-known chorus of the song, and Ludacris, 48, assisted her as she came off the stage. They shared a hug, and Ludacris then praised her, telling the audience that it had been seven years since she last performed.
The nostalgic moments continued as Fergie performed another classic song, “London Bridge,” from her album The Dutchess. This performance was part of her return to performing, and Fergie shares a 12-year-old son, Axl, with her ex-husband, Josh Duhamel.
And true to her and Ludacris’ bond, she thanked him for welcoming her back to the stage.
She commented on the post, saying she was glad to be able to pay tribute to him and celebrate his incredible 25-year career. She finished with a simple ‘Cheers to 25 years!’
It’s been eight years since Fergie left the Black Eyed Peas in June 2017. At the time, will.i.am said she was concentrating on her solo album, Double Dutchess, which came out three months later. Three years after that, the band – which Fergie had been a part of with members Apl.de.ap and Taboo since 2002 – shared more details about why she left.

According to will.i.am, Fergie is currently prioritizing motherhood. He explained to Billboard in 2020 that being a mom is a demanding job and it’s what she truly wants to focus on, and the group fully supports her decision. He added that this was always Fergie’s plan, and they respect her wishes, wishing her only the best.
Since taking a break from her career, Fergie has been enjoying special moments with her son, Axl. She recently shared a heartfelt birthday message for him when he turned twelve this past autumn.
It’s been amazing watching my son grow into such an independent and kind person. I shared some photos on Instagram recently, looking back over the years, and it just filled me with so much joy to see him discovering his passions. Honestly, I feel incredibly lucky to be his mom!
