Sydney Sweeney is shimmering, literally. 

The actress from Euphoria attended Variety‘s 2025 Power of Women event in Los Angeles on October 29th, wearing a see-through silver dress without a bra.

The 28-year-old showed off her new bob haircut with a sparkling crystal dress by Christian Cowan and Elias Matso. She kept her accessories simple, wearing minimal silver jewelry and opting for subtle makeup – thin winged eyeliner and a matte lipstick.

At the event, Sydney discussed the importance of empowering women, particularly in connection with her recent portrayal of professional boxer Christy Martin in the film Christy.

Sydney shared that she understands what it’s like to be doubted and judged before people get to know you, and having to constantly prove your worth.

As Christy explained, true strength isn’t always about being bold or making a big statement. Often, it’s simply about resilience – the ability to keep getting back on your feet, even when no one is around to notice.

Now that Sydney has changed her style, she might be discovering new aspects of her personality. She’s shared before that she enjoys using fashion as a way to express herself and try out different identities.

Sydney recently told People magazine that she sees fashion as a playful way to show off different parts of her personality. She explained that depending on her mood, she might dress femininely, boldly, or casually, and that clothing allows her to express her various feelings and identities.
