ARC Raiders is now available after a long period of testing, and we’re taking a look at how many players are currently enjoying the game, based on player numbers and Steam charts.
The team at Embark Studios, known for creating The Finals, chose a busy period to release their game, falling right between the launches of Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
Additionally, EA released Season 1 for Battlefield 6 and a new free-to-play battle royale game called RedSec. This could pull players away from ARC Raiders, particularly if your friends decide to play RedSec instead.
It will likely face challenges, but considering how well ARC Raiders has been received, it should find its own audience, similar to what The Finals achieved.

ARC Raiders player count and Steam charts: How many people are playing?
Currently, ARC Raiders has seen a peak of 158,141 players, as reported by SteamDB.
When the game launched at 9 AM British Summer Time on October 30th, 2025, it instantly had 95,000 players. The player count continued to increase for several hours, eventually leveling off around 150,000.
Now that the game is out, we expect even more players to join as the weekend begins, people finish work and school, and players in the Americas wake up and start playing.
Honestly, the player numbers we’re seeing right now are probably just the tip of the iceberg. We can only see how many people are playing on Steam, but tons of others are likely enjoying it through the Microsoft Store, Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X/S, or PlayStation 5. It’s awesome to think about how many people are actually playing!
According to SteamDB, the recent ARC Raiders playtest had a peak of nearly 190,000 players, suggesting the full game still has room to grow in popularity.
The initial ARC Raiders playtest was available at no cost, but the complete game will cost £30.99 ($39.99), which might discourage some players from buying it.
