Halloween is here, and we’ve been curious: does this spooky season change how people play games?
The PlayStation 5 has a ton of highly-rated horror games to choose from. The Resident Evil series is a great place to start, with many classic titles that have been beautifully updated for modern players.
This year has already given us some particularly frightening gaming experiences, like Silent Hill F and Cronos: The New Dawn.
PlayStation Plus has been featuring a lot of horror games lately. Alan Wake 2 was a free game for Essential members in October, and you can also play Silent Hill 2 with a PS Plus Extra subscription – a perfect choice for the spooky season!
Just like watching a scary movie during Halloween, playing a themed video game can be a fun way to get into the holiday spirit. However, horror isn’t for everyone, and that’s perfectly okay.
Do you get into the spooky spirit by playing horror games around Halloween, or do you stick to your usual games? Let us know by voting in our polls, and share your thoughts in the comments below!
