The Witch’s Bakery wears its inspiration on its sleeve, and that’s no bad thing.
This new PS5 game feels like a Parisian take on Kiki’s Delivery Service, trading packages for pretzels, and boasting a charming, hand-drawn animation style reminiscent of classic films.
Sunny Lab Games describes their upcoming game, scheduled for release in 2026, as a charming RPG where players go on a magical adventure and help people by, quite literally, healing their hearts with croissants.

In this game, you play as Lunne, a sorceress who runs a bakery. It’s a relaxing experience where you bake special pastries to help your customers feel better.
You’ll experience the charming life of a witch, happily baking bread and wandering the beautiful streets of Paris. Despite a few financial limitations, it seems like a wonderful existence.
The game will progress over three phases, as described in the press release:
- Daytime, where Lunne manages her bakery and serves clients with her team of friends.
- Evening, where Lunne explores Paris, builds relationships, discovers the city’s secrets and goes inside her friends’ troubled heart.
- Night, where Lunne rests, improves her magic, decorates her bakery, and spends time in her cosy atelier.
Everything looks beautiful, doesn’t it? We’re loving the whimsical, Studio Ghibli feel and the stunning views of Paris. It almost feels like we can taste the macarons just looking at it!
You can now add the game to your wishlist on the PS Store! While we don’t have a release date yet, it’s definitely a game worth watching.
