The Queen of Halloween strikes again.
Heidi Klum unveiled her elaborate 2025 Halloween costume at her yearly party, solidifying her reputation for creating one of the most talked-about looks of the season. This year, she transformed into the mythical figure of Medusa for the October 31st event.
The host of Project Runway showed off her costume at her 24th annual Halloween party, sponsored by Butterfinger and held at the Hard Rock Hotel New York. She was accompanied by her husband, Tom Kaulitz, who dressed as Perseus, the Greek hero known for slaying Medusa.
Heidi Klum offered fans a preview of her elaborate costume in the weeks leading up to the event. On October 17th, she posted a picture of a prosthetic bust on Instagram, along with fabric samples and tagged the makeup artists helping her create the look. Just before the final reveal, she shared a short video of herself applying green makeup and a bald cap as part of the costume.
The 52-year-old, who has four children – Leni (21), Henry (20), Johan (18), and Lou (16) – with her ex-husband Seal, has said before that it takes a lot of time and effort to perfect her Halloween costume.
She told TopMob News that preparing her E.T. costume for her 2024 party took a full year. The day of the party, they started getting ready at 10 a.m. and finished just in time to head down to the event.
Tom, who also famously dressed as E.T. that year, explained that the project required a lot of teamwork and careful planning.
Heidi Klum is famous for her amazing Halloween costumes. Over the years, she’s dressed as iconic characters like Jessica Rabbit (from Who Framed Roger Rabbit? in 2016), the werewolf from Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” video (in 2017), and Fiona from Shrek (in 2018). She especially loves Halloween because she gets to host her own party to celebrate!

She told The Hollywood Reporter in 2018 that she instantly loved Halloween after moving to the United States, especially the fun, spooky atmosphere. She felt something was missing, though – a great party – and saw it as a perfect chance to create one.
The model explained she chooses dramatic outfits intentionally, hoping her guests will also dress up when they see her style.
She explained that the party has been a success, largely because guests have gotten more and more creative with their costumes over time. It’s become famous for its incredible outfits, and she believes her own enthusiasm for Halloween has inspired others to love it as much as she does.
