Megan Walerius is highlighting an unexpected chapter in her pregnancy.
Sparkle Megan, a contestant on season nine of Love Is Blind, recently discussed her experience giving birth to her and Paul Wegman’s son, Brooks.
Megan recently shared that her childbirth experience didn’t go exactly as she’d hoped. She originally wanted a natural birth at a birthing center, but after being in labor for around 20 hours, unexpected complications led to an emergency C-section, she told People magazine.
“It was frightening for a moment, but the second I heard his cry and saw him safe, I was overcome with so much love and joy,” she continued. “Every part of the journey was worth it.”
Megan was happy to be pregnant, even though she and her fiancé, Jordan Keltner, from Love Is Blind, had broken up before their wedding. She also had some worries about becoming a mom under these circumstances.
I was told by doctors a long time ago that I’d probably have trouble getting pregnant due to a health condition I was born with, so I was surprised when it happened so easily and quickly.
The woman, age 35, was also worried about becoming a mother, something she discussed when she ended her relationship with Jordan.
She admitted to People magazine that she used to worry about whether she was prepared to be a mother. However, she now feels those anxieties are long gone, and sheâs finding motherhood to be the most rewarding experience of her life.
Watching the season finale, it really hit me when Megan opened up about her struggles with Jordan being a single dad. It became a real issue for them, and she finally admitted that it was a tough thing to navigate in their relationship. It was heartbreaking to see, honestly, but I appreciate her honesty about it.
Looking back, I was really drawn to the fact that he was a single dad and all that comes with it,” the wellness entrepreneur shared. “I didn’t fully consider how difficult that would be, or how much I’d have to change my own lifestyle to make it work.

She went on, “I’m starting to wonder if I’m even suited to be a stepmother. It’s making me question whether I’m meant to be a mother at all.”
During the reunion on October 29th, Megan appeared to be adjusting well to parenthood as she shared updates with the group.
Megan recently became a mom! She welcomed a baby boy two and a half months ago, and says he’s brought so much joy to her life. She feels like becoming a mother is her true calling, and her family is incredibly happy with their new addition.
She shared that they found out they were expecting a baby just three months after they started dating. While their relationship hasn’t always been easy, she emphasized that Paul has been a wonderful partner and they are now very happy together.
When Jordan heard about his ex’s news, he reacted positively. The 30-year-old service manager told Megan and Paul, “You’re going to be wonderful parents.”

She went on, admitting she wasn’t sure she was suited to be a stepmother. It was making her wonder if she was even meant to be a mother at all.

Ultimately, Anton’s lifestyle and money problems weren’t a good fit for what Ali wanted in a partner.
She told the truck driver, right at the altar, that she couldn’t marry him. She explained that the man she’d connected with while they were dating in the pods was very different from the man sheâd gotten to know in person.
So, she listened to her intuition.
She explained to the cameras that the experience didn’t meet her expectations and didn’t feel genuine. She also felt he hadn’t been completely honest about his way of life.
Honestly, I’ve been following this situation closely, and Anton just seems genuinely heartbroken. He’s struggling to pinpoint exactly what went wrong â whether it was a surface-level thing, a feeling he got, or just the dynamic of their life together. But heâs adamant about one thing: he always cared for her deeply, and thatâs what really stands out to me.

Despite finding common ground through shared experiences with family members who have Type 1 diabetes, Megan and her fiancĂ© ultimately couldn’t overcome their contrasting lifestyles â he favored simplicity, while she enjoyed luxury. This difference led Megan to end their engagement at the conclusion of the ninth season.
âItâs like weâre just passing ships, completely different people,â the entrepreneur explained. But Jordan didnât understand the comparison, simply saying, âI donât get it.â
After Megan mentioned Jordan’s fussy eating and difficult travel commitments as a father, he responded by questioning why she had chosen him in the pods to begin with.
She admitted she’d hoped their differences would work out, but ultimately had doubts. “Looking back, I realize I never wanted to get married and risk hurting either of us,” she said, starting to cry, and he joined her.
Jordan admitted his biggest regret was letting his son, Luca, meet her. He explained that he believes she doesn’t love him for who he is, and realizing that is what he needs to move on.
Honestly, hearing Megan talk about going through all of that just broke my heart. She said it made her seriously doubt if she’s even meant to be a mom, like maybe she’s been too focused on herself. It’s just⊠devastating to hear her say that, you know? I feel so bad for her, and I just want her to know she’s amazing, even when things are tough.

At their wedding, both Kalybriah and Edmond expressed strong feelings for each other, saying they loved each other very much. However, Kalybriah ultimately rejected Edmond’s proposal, offering an apology.
She told the realtor she needed someone who was fully committed, and admitted she wasn’t in that place herself. However, she quickly added that saying no didn’t mean she didn’t care for him.
It was heartbreaking watching Edmond get emotional, but Kalybriah was so kind, thanking him for being such a gentleman as she explained she needed to make a tough choice. He was brave enough to ask if we might see them together in the future, and she didn’t shut down the idea at all â she said sheâd definitely keep him in mind. It gave me a little hope, honestly!
“I am shocked,” he said in a confessional of her decision. “There was no bright side.”

Joe and his partner didn’t get married in season nine; he ended things after an emotional breakdown while trying on his tuxedo.
Madison shared with Glamour that Joe presented two distinct sides. When the cameras weren’t rolling, he was comforting and affectionate, often physically close. But when they were filming, especially during scenes like the pool party, he became distant and reserved, creating a noticeable contrast.
Madison directly asked Joe if he was attracted to her, and he admitted it had been a problem while they were on vacation.
She explained that she asked him what kind of women he usually dated, and he said he preferred ‘more petite women.’ She admitted that, even though she’s usually very confident, his answer briefly made her feel insecure.
Joe explained that he was clumsily trying to describe a recurring issue in his dating history, and didn’t intend to compare or judge anyone.

Nick broke up with Annie right before their wedding, telling her he felt upset that she always claimed to love him more than he loved her.
Despite being told it was finished, the hairstylist didn’t accept it and pleaded with Nick to stay with her, saying, “Just stay with me and love me.”
“You can’t make one plus one equal three,” he said, prompting her to say, “Watch me.”Â
Nick finally told Annie he wasn’t willing to marry her because he was unhappy.

Dave and Laurenâs relationship didnât work out after they arrived in Honduras. While they discovered they had friends in common, the real issue was Daveâs discomfort with Lauren having previously been with someone they both knew, a fact she revealed during filming.
Plus, Dave hadn’t wanted to introduce Lauren to his friends or family. He hadn’t even told his dad about their engagement, and his sister, who would later cause a lot of problems, completely disapproved of the relationship.

Many viewers thought Monica and Joey were a perfect match and expected them to get married. Instead, when the time came, Monica decided she wasn’t ready for marriage just yet.
She said, crying, that she was completely sure of how she felt, but it seemed like neither she nor Joey was fully ready. Joey wholeheartedly agreed.
He hugged her and said it was alright. He felt they clearly cared for each other, but believed they both needed to focus on personal growth. He admitted he wasn’t ready for a relationship right now, and wasnât fully sure if he ever would be.

Despite having significant differences in beliefs and values â like religion and politics â Ben and Sara appeared to have found common ground by the time of their wedding. However, they eventually realized they werenât compatible and decided to end their relationship.
Sara, who previously told me she didnât see a future with Ben, explained to him, “Ben, I care about you deeply, but Iâve always envisioned a partner who shares my perspective on life. Because of that, I canât continue this relationship. Iâm truly sorry if thatâs not what you wanted to hear.”
Honestly, I’ve been following this closely, and it’s so clear how much she cares. She’s said herself that the connection is genuine and she really feels it. But when they actually discussed what’s truly important to her â her core beliefs â she realized she just couldn’t move forward. It’s heartbreaking, but she’s trusting her gut and being true to herself.

Devin and Virginia appeared to be a strong couple, looking forward to their future together after the pods. However, their relationship hit a snag when they started discussing a prenuptial agreement.
Ultimately, larger problems arose that led Virginia to end her relationship with Devin and decide not to marry him.
After leaving the altar, she explained, with tears in her eyes, that she often felt the need to shield Devin throughout their relationship. She wasn’t sure if it was due to her upbringing, but protecting him was always a priority. This meant avoiding certain sensitive subjects, like politics, and respecting his boundaries even if it meant they didn’t fully explore all aspects of their connection. Ultimately, they didn’t reach a deeper level of understanding in those areas, and those parts of their relationship remained unexplored.

In the end, Daniel and Taylor were the happy couple who got engaged, promising a lifetime of love that would extend far beyond the holidays.
Despite a rocky start â Taylor believed Daniel had been checking her Instagram profile before the show â they were able to move past it.
After sharing heartfelt vows, the couple had a lovely wedding and a joyous reception.
âWe did it!â Daniel exclaimed, sitting with Taylor after their wedding. Taylor added, with excitement, âWe canât wait to start our life together.â

The art dealer, now well-known in his field, proposed to the author of Keeping Well after a complicated relationship involving Hannah Jiles. However, they soon realized they were better suited as friends and ended their brief engagement.
Brittany and Leo realized they didn’t have a romantic connection. As Brittany explained to People magazine, they discussed the possibility of making things work at the start of their time together, but as things progressed, it became clear they weren’t a good match. They were able to communicate openly and honestly, which made the realization and subsequent decision respectful and straightforward.
Shortly after appearing on a Netflix dating show, Brittany began dating musician Mod Sun in November 2024. However, she announced their breakup in July 2025.

Monica and Stephen split up after she discovered explicit text messages her fiancé had sent to another woman while they were on vacation in Mexico. Stephen initially apologized on the show, but later posted a message on social media after the episode was broadcast.
In an October 2024 post on Instagram Stories, he expressed regret if his presence bothered anyone, apologizing for any negativity and saying he wished those affected hadnât had to start their day. He added that he still cared for them regardless.

After leaving the pods, Hannah and Nick experienced plenty of challenges and arguments. Hannah famously noted that she felt treated as an equal only when she contributed equally to the relationship.
Everything fell apart when Hannah ended the relationship, deciding she didn’t want to marry Nick. He described the breakup as incredibly painful, calling it one of the worst moments of his life.
Since then, Hannah has admitted the show forced her to do some self-introspection.
She recently shared that sheâs been reflecting on herself and identified areas for improvement. Speaking on the The Viall Files podcast, she explained that while sheâs always been straightforward, she realizes her communication style can be a bit harsh. Sheâs come to understand that how you say something is just as important as what you say.

Taylor and Garrett instantly connected, feeling like a perfect matchâalmost as if their connection was meant to be. They did face a challenge when Taylor discovered Garrett had responded to a message from a former girlfriend, but he assured her he quickly clarified he was engaged and ended the conversation. After that, their relationship unfolded beautifully, becoming a memorable part of the Love Is Blind story.
The pair were still married at the Love Is Blind reunion in October 2024.

You’re not mistaken! Marissa and Ramses were initially considered strong contenders to succeed on the show, but Ramses ultimately decided to cancel their wedding because he had doubts.
After a heartfelt conversation, Marissa shared with her fiancĂ©, âIâm so excited about our future together, I want to spend the rest of my life with you.â He replied, simply, âI know loving someone always involves taking a chance.â
He acknowledged that their disagreementsâlike their differing views on the militaryâcould be too significant to overcome. He explained that, having observed his own marriage and those of others, he believes love isn’t always enough for a successful relationship. Other important factors need to be in place as well.
Marissa tried to ignore how he felt, but once she realized the relationship was truly over, she started crying. She told him, “I wish you hadn’t come here,” and expressed her confusion and hurt, saying, “I was so certain about us, and you weren’t. It’s awfulâI really wanted you to choose me.” She also admitted that this was the worst day of her life.

Tyler and Ashley were popular with viewers as their relationship seemed to be progressing smoothly. But things became complicated when Tyler revealed he had three children, a revelation Ashley bluntly called his “sperm donor babies.” Online, people are debating how involved Tyler is as a father, but he hasn’t spoken publicly about it.
By the October 2024 reunion show, Ashley and Tyler had resolved their issues, reconnected, and eventually married.
“These past two months have been incredible and have completely changed our lives,” Tyler shared, sitting with Ashley after their wedding. “Now, we’re excited to begin the rest of our lives as husband and wife.”
However, Ashley later shared that the pair had called it quits following over one year of marriage.Â
In a statement released in January 2025, she announced that she and Tyler have separated and are divorcing. She explained that despite her hopes for open communication and a shared future, they’ve grown apart and can no longer continue their marriage.

Alex and Tim appeared to resolve their big disagreement during their trip to Mexico, and their relationship seemed stronger than ever when they returned to Washington, D.C. Things got even better when Tim had a heartfelt conversation with Alexâs father, which suggested a promising future for them.
After Alex met Timâs family, they had another fight, and Tim broke off their engagement, telling Alex he never wanted to see her again. Since then, both Alex and Tim have publicly shared their sides of the story, with Alex clarifying that the breakup wasnât a joint decision.

Chelsea and Jimmy had a rocky start to the season with some arguments, but they seemed to resolve their issues during a fun date at an amusement park just before their wedding.
I just⊠I can’t believe it. Jimmy actually ended things with Chelsea! After everything, all the ups and downs they went through, he justâŠcalled it off. She was completely devastated, absolutely sobbing when he told her. It was like watching a train wreck â I knew their relationship was a wild ride, but I never thought it would end so abruptly. Poor Chelsea, she seemed so shocked, like she didn’t even see it coming. It’s just⊠heartbreaking.
During their date, Jimmy confessed to Chelsea, “I’m deeply in love with you and really want a relationship, but I don’t see marriage in our future. I just can’t commit to that.”
He said they were simplifying a complex situation, but it stemmed from several deeply upsetting issues â around five or six of them. One example was Chelsea sharing a private secret about Jimmyâs past relationship with a friend.
After one last argument about their past relationships, Chelsea broke down in tears and left, saying, “I really thought we had a chance.”
The pair were both single during the March 2024 reunion.

Clay was reluctant to get married because of his father’s past infidelity, but AD comforted him, assuring him they could overcome any challenges together, and things seemed good between them.
However, when it came time to actually get married, Clay surprised AD by saying he wasnât ready. He explained that it wouldnât be responsible of him to go through with the wedding when he wasnât prepared.
Cue the shock.
He told AD he would do the necessary work to figure things out, and they would face it together. He admitted he wasnât ready for marriage, and that she deserved better. He explained he wouldnât commit to marriage until he was fully prepared to give her his all, and he couldnât give her an answer right now.
The discovery caused AD to break down in tears, angrily stating the relationship had been a complete waste of her time.
Clay explained that both financial and emotional connections were major factors in his decision to leave. He confessed, âI had to ask myself if I was still a husband, and the answer was no. I also realized I wasnât truly in love anymore.â
At the reunion, Clay admitted he regretted not dating AD and hoped they could try again, but she didn’t reveal whether she’d be open to the idea.
AD admitted she did go on a few dates with her colleague, Matthew Duliba, after they finished filming, but they are no longer seeing each other.
She announced in May 2025 she’s expecting her first baby with fiancĂ© Ollie Sutherland.

Amy and Johnny were the only couple from season six to get married, and their wedding was beautiful! They also blended their families together wonderfully, with Amyâs father sharing that he now feels like heâs gained another daughter in Johnnyâs sister.
As for Johnny, he too declared at his reception that his father-in-law was his ânew dad.â
They are still married.

You know, I’ve seen it happen so many times! A relationship can feel incredible while you’re caught up in the excitement of a new connection, like with Brittany and Kenneth. They had a really strong start, but once everyday life kicked in, things just⊠faded. It’s a common story â the ‘real world’ can be a tough test for even the most promising romances.
Brittany explained to Life & Style that things changed once they returned to Charlotte. She felt they had a very strong connection while in the pods, but that passion faded a little after leaving that environment.
Brittany and her former fiancé have stayed friends. At a recent meeting, she explained that even though their romantic relationship ended, they still share a strong and lasting connection.

Laura and Jeramey broke up after Laura discovered Jeramey had spent time with a fellow castmate, Sarah Ann Bick, while they were out one night. Following a heated argument, Laura ended the relationship.
But instead of that, he went off to ride jet skis with Sarah Ann.Â
At the reunion in March 2024, Jeramey shared that he and Sarah Ann had been dating on and off for about a year, starting after the show finished filming, but they are no longer together.
Laura is dating someone else, who she did not identify at the reunion.

Despite overcoming challenges like Izzyâs initial connection with Johnie Maraist and Stacyâs preferences for a certain lifestyle (she didnât want to use paper plates!), Stacy ultimately decided not to marry Izzy because he wasnât truthful about his financial history.
Even though the wedding didn’t happen, Stacy still wanted to stay with Izzy, who was heartbroken.
“Weâre at different spots,â he told her. “It really breaks my heart.”
You know, I’ve been following Stacy’s journey, and she really appreciates how Izzy helped her open up and connect with her feelings. However, she’s being honest with herself â and with Izzy â about what she needs for the long term. She told me she needs to be absolutely certain before committing to a lifetime together, and ‘fairly certain’ just doesn’t cut it. It’s all about knowing what you want and needing that solid foundation, and I completely respect that!
Izzy is now dating surgical assistant Shelby Webb.

The only bright spot of season five dimmed when Lydia revealed on an interview with former castmate AD Smith’s podcast, What’s the Reality, in June 2025 that she was divorcing Milton after less than three years of marriage.
She explained it wasn’t a single event, but rather a buildup of problems. When she told him she’d inform him when the divorce papers were finalized, he replied that he wouldn’t sign them without a non-disclosure agreement.
She explained that she decided to go public with the news because she’d been holding it in for too long. She felt it was important to share what she’d been going through, as keeping it to herself had become overwhelming.
Lydia stated that while they were married, several women accused her husband, Milton, 26, of overly friendly behavior â specifically, flirting and buying them drinks at bars. Milton reportedly denied these claims and instead questioned why Lydia would even consider the rumors to be true.

Throughout the season, Paul and Micah seemed like a surprisingly good match, despite being very different people. However, at their wedding, things fell apart. Micah, noticing Paul’s reluctance, asked him to speak first, and he ultimately turned down the marriage proposal.
Honestly, hearing Micah say she felt like a total mess broke my heart. She confessed that if Paul had proposed, she absolutely would have married him â she was so ready for that next step with him.
At the reunion, Paul apologized for a hurtful comment he made privately about Micah, where he said he couldn’t picture her as a mother.
Paul admitted he hadn’t been fair in how he said things. He clarified that his real concern was that he didn’t envision them having children together.
Although they got back together for a short time after filming finished, Paul and Micah eventually split up permanently. Paul said the final breakup happened when he went to visit Micah in Arizona.
On the show After the Altar, Paul shared that he was seeing someone new â a woman who loved to travel and appreciated his cooking. He later publicly confirmed their relationship on Instagram with Geneva Dunham, who works as an eyelash technician.

Even though Kwame’s mother didn’t come to the wedding and he had some questionable chats with Micah, whom he met while filming, Kwame and Chelsea were still one of the three couples who got married at the end of the fourth season.
At the reunion, Chelsea shared that she’s now met her husband’s mother. Kwame also apologized to his wife and her family for how he acted, explaining that his conversations with Micah hadn’t been his best moment.
The couple is living in Seattle with their beloved dog Rocky.

Everyone says love is blind, but sometimes it takes a while â or even getting engaged to someone else â to realize you’ve made a mistake. That’s what happened to Zack, who proposed to Irina Solomonova, but they broke up while on vacation in Mexico.
Despite initial challenges and objections from Bliss’s father, the couple reconciled and got married. They celebrated their first dance as husband and wife to Lee Ann Womackâs “I Hope You Dance,” a song that held special meaning for them, as it was the tune that brought them together in the pods.
Following the final episode, Zack posted a picture of him and his partner on Instagram, writing “Eternal Bliss” in the caption.
The couple announced in November 2023 that they were expecting a baby, and in April 2024, they welcomed their daughter, Galileo Terri Rayne Goytowski.

It feels like we haven’t seen a Love Is Blind couple with such instant chemistry since Cameron Hamilton and Lauren Speed back in season one!
Tiffany, 36, and Brett, 37, were the oldest couple in the experiment and still managed to get married, despite a last-minute wardrobe mishap when Brett’s pants didn’t fit! A special thanks to the amazing seamstress, Lucia, who saved the day.
Since filming wrapped, Tiffany and Brett moved to Portland and are still perfect! Phew!

After SK said “I don’t” at their wedding, he and Raven seemingly parted ways.
Once the show stopped filming, the ex-couple got back together and announced they were dating again during the season three reunion show.
A month later, the couple announced their separation following accusations of infidelity against SK. In a joint social media statement released in November, SK and Raven explained they couldn’t share further details due to ongoing legal issues, and asked for privacy during this difficult time. They thanked their followers for supporting their relationship.

Viewers were shocked and disappointed when Jackie decided to reconnect with Josh Demasâanother person she’d formed a bond with in the podsâbefore officially ending things with Marshall.
During the reunion, Jackie clarified what happened with her relationships. She explained, “I ended things with Marshall before I met Josh at the coffee shop. It might seem like I was unfaithful, but I want to be clear â I didnât cheat.”
Jackie spoke about her breakup with Marshall, admitting she takes responsibility for her part in what happened. She explained that they simply weren’t a good match for each other.
Jackie and Josh were still a couple and living together when After the Altar aired, but she revealed on Instagram Live in September 2023 that they had split up.
Marshall shared with TopMob that he and fellow contestant Kacia Clark briefly attempted a connection after the show ended. However, he decided he needed to put that whole experience behind him and create some distance.
On the show After the Altar, Marshall shared that heâs been dating Dr. Chay Barnes for a year and hopes to marry her. They got engaged in December 2023.
