To mark its 40th anniversary, Naughty Dog released a new video looking back at its history. The video features interviews with developers and clips from both classic and recent games.
This documentary, featuring insights from studio leaders like Neil Druckmann and Alison Mori, and art co-head Erick Pangilinan, looks back at the past four decades of the studio’s most successful games. It includes reflections from the teams behind popular franchises like Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Daxter, Uncharted, and The Last of Us, and ends with a brief glimpse of their new project, Intergalactic.
Founded in 1984 as JAM Software, the company initially created games like Math Jam and Ski Crazed for the Apple II. It rebranded as Naughty Dog in 1989, but really gained recognition in 1996 with the popular Crash Bandicoot series. Today, after four decades, it’s a key development team within PlayStation Studios.
