SEGA has announced that Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will be available digitally on the Nintendo Switch 2 starting December 4th. A physical copy will be released in early 2026. Players who already own the game on the original Switch can upgrade to the new version with an Upgrade Pack for $10, available at half price until December 10th. Those who purchase the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will also receive the “Werehog Pack” downloadable content as a bonus, but only until December 17th.
So, I’ve been playing Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds – it came out on September 25th for pretty much everything: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and even PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. And get this – it’s already sold over a million copies! That’s awesome to hear, and it’s a really fun racer.
