Kojima Productions is planning to hire a lot of new people soon. They’re currently advertising jobs for several projects, including OD and Physint.
The studio in Tokyo, Japan is hiring for a variety of roles, including positions in programming, art, administration, localization, sound, marketing, and writing. They’re looking for talented individuals such as animators, character artists, game designers, programmers, and recording engineers, among other roles.
Kojima Productions announced they are hiring for their new projects, “OD” and “PHYSINT.” They shared the news on social media and provided a link for interested applicants.
Neither project has a confirmed release date, but the game known as ‘OD’ is likely to come out before ‘Physint’. ‘OD’ has been in development for a long time, and is being created with the help of horror director Jordan Peele. A recent trailer called ‘Knock’ showed that the game is still actively being worked on.
Currently, Outriders is only officially available on Xbox Series X|S. However, because Microsoft is now publishing games for other platforms, a PlayStation 5 version is probably going to happen.
Currently, the game known as Physint is expected to be released much later – potentially even for the PlayStation 6. It will mark Hideo Kojima’s return to the kind of gameplay seen in classic Metal Gear Solid games, which he previously developed under Konami. So far, all that’s been revealed is a promotional poster and the confirmed cast of actors.
The game will feature Charlee Fraser, known for her role in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, Don Lee, who starred in Train to Busan, and Minami Hamabe, from Godzilla Minus One.
Hideo Kojima initially stated in August that he was solely developing Physint, as the project was still just an idea. However, it appears he’ll be getting help with it in the coming months.
