In The Awakener: Forgotten Oath, you play as a hero summoned by the gods to fight in a challenging roguelike action game. Experience thrilling third-person combat and shape your destiny in a world falling apart. Grow stronger with each battle and defeat, vanquish the forces of Chaos, and prevent the Demon Lord’s return.
Sylvalond is a world brimming with magical secrets. The first Gods formed the land known as Lucatia. When catastrophes threatened to overwhelm the world, the Gods created barriers around the affected areas, effectively pulling those lands into a separate dimension called Nothingness to contain the damage.
Ancient gods called upon heroes known as Awakeners to fight demons and end a great catastrophe. This sparked an age of constant warfare. Players will experience the action from a third-person viewpoint, battling demons with a variety of weapons and magical abilities.

You are the Chosen One, leading a team of powerful adventurers on a quest to battle monsters and demons that emerge from the Void. Explore these strange realms and fight to protect the world!
Rescue those chosen by the Gods to increase the number of adventurers you can recruit. These recruits, all known as Awakeners, will come from various backgrounds but share a special gift. The most powerful Awakeners possess unique abilities that can be crucial in tough situations and will join you on your journey.
Power of God and Holy Relics
Fragments of the gods, dropped from the stars of Therad, are sacred relics imbued with divine power. These relics will only respond to those known as Awakeners. Enhance your weapons with powers drawn from various gods, adding unique abilities and experiences to your journey.
Heroes of the Past and Artefacts
You can summon weapons and gear from legendary heroes of the past as powerful artifacts. These artifacts have unique abilities you can use in combat. Perhaps this cannon once belonged to a famous pirate?
Epic Battles and Endless Reincarnation
You won’t face permanent death – the Twelve Gods of Therad will revive you. But each time you return, you’ll lose the valuable items you’ve collected.
Each time you face death and rebirth in the Void, you’ll learn and grow, building a resilient spirit. As your skills and hidden powers develop, you might even find yourself surpassing the Demon Lord one day.
