PlayStation Plus is expected to soon add a hugely popular game to its library. This week saw the release of November 2025’s free PS Plus games: Stray, WRC 24, and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator. These games will be available until December 2nd, but Sony is also planning to add even more titles to the Game Catalog later this month. Before those additions arrive, details about the most anticipated game have been revealed.
According to a report from Dealabs, Grand Theft Auto 5 will be added to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in November. With over 200 million copies sold, GTA 5 is one of the best-selling video games ever made and is still incredibly popular more than ten years after it first came out. Sony is expected to officially announce that GTA 5 is coming to PS Plus next week on November 12th, with the game then becoming available to subscribers the week after, on November 18th.
This Game Has Been on PS Plus Before
Just a reminder that Grand Theft Auto 5 has been available on PS Plus before. It was part of the service from December 2023 to November 2024. Because of this, it’s likely GTA 5 will eventually be removed from PS Plus again, probably sometime in 2026, though we don’t have a specific date yet.
Okay, so the news about GTA 6 being delayed again really stings, especially since we were all hoping for it in May 2026! Now we’re looking at November 19, 2026, which feels like forever away. It’s tough waiting for what might be the biggest game release ever. But honestly, having GTA 5 come back to PS Plus is a pretty good way to help us pass the time until then. It’s nice that PlayStation is giving us something to enjoy while we wait!
Just a heads-up, Grand Theft Auto 5 isn’t the only game coming to the PlayStation Plus catalog next month, but we don’t have the full list yet. As soon as Sony announces all the games, I’ll be sure to update you right here!
