There are no errors in Miguel Rojas’ fashion game.
The Los Angeles Dodgers’ shortstop has been wearing Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry since the start of spring training. However, it was during the 2025 World Series against the Toronto Blue Jays that his jewelry really caught people’s attention online.
Rojas explained to TopMob News that she’s a fan of the Van Cleef & Arpels brand, which has become increasingly popular recently. She added that she wanted to showcase it in the place where she spends her days – on the field.
Van Cleef & Arpels’ iconic clover necklace isn’t just for Rojas; Tampa Bay Rays player Junior Caminero and other Major League Baseball stars have been spotted wearing it too. Rojas finds the necklace both personally significant and useful.
The 36-year-old explained that his wife gave him the blue necklace for Father’s Day, and it complements his uniform nicely. He prefers this style to the long chains many baseball players used to wear, because it doesn’t get caught or bounce around while he’s playing. He feels comfortable and confident wearing it on the field.
After hitting the home run that tied the game in the ninth inning of the seventh World Series game on November 1st, he proudly showed off a Van Cleef & Arpels Alhambra necklace with ten motifs. What was he thinking right after hitting the home run?
After hitting the home run, I was thinking about my wife and the encouraging words she gave me before the game,” Rojas shared. “She really motivated me and helped me stay focused on making a difference for the team.”

The Dodgers’ 2025 championship is their seventh World Series win since the team moved to Los Angeles from Brooklyn in 1958. It’s also the first time a team has won back-to-back championships in 25 years. Manager Dave Roberts was on the Dodgers team that won last year, alongside stars like Shohei Ohtani, a three-time MVP, and Freddie Freeman, who was named World Series MVP last year.
But the win this season was made even cooler because he did it wearing his rookie number: 72.
He excitedly told TopMob, “I’ve now won a championship with both of my jersey numbers, 11 and 72!”
The jersey number change happened at the beginning of the year when Roki Sasaki, a 23-year-old pitcher who joined the Dodgers from Japan, requested number 11. This meant Miguel Rojas, who had been wearing number 11 since 2022 with the Miami Marlins, went back to his original Dodgers number – the one he first wore when he debuted in MLB in 2014.

And it was a move he was happy to make for his young teammate.
He stressed that he’s already achieved everything he wanted in his career. He won a championship in 2024, played on excellent teams, and has strong relationships with players both on his team and throughout the league. He doesn’t believe having a jersey number would add anything to his accomplishments.
Honestly, seeing him do that just melted my heart! He said it wasn’t even a question – he had to give up his jersey number for Roki. He explained it’s all about making Roki feel welcome and comfortable on the team, and that’s just… everything. It proves what a genuinely amazing teammate he is, and it makes me love him even more! Seriously, it wasn’t a ‘hard decision’ for him at all, because Roki being happy matters that much.
Throughout the season, Rojas and Sasaki developed a strong connection. It started with Rojas sharing the song “Báilalo Rocky” – which Sasaki now uses when walking onto the field – and culminated in celebrating a championship with a team Sasaki considers his family.

Rojas is hoping to win another championship, and with plans to retire in 2026, he’s particularly motivated to do so. He is currently a free agent.
He expressed his desire to continue playing for the Dodgers next year. While he understands the decision isn’t his, he plans to make it clear to the team that he wants to stay.
