Strictly’s Claudia Winkleman grossed out by Lewis Cope revelation – as scores take a dip

Claudia Winkleman was surprised by something Katya Jones said after Claudia and her partner Lewis Cope performed their Cha Cha on tonight’s show.

Following their dance performance and the judges’ comments, Jones discussed with Winkleman how challenging the routine was, noting that Cope was visibly sweating from the effort.

She revealed something a little too personal, and honestly, it was a bit much. As Winkleman quipped, it was definitely more information than I was prepared for!

“The Cha Cha isn’t easy at all,” Jones started. “It takes a lot of hard work. I mean, you can see how much effort he puts in – when he spins, sweat actually flies into my mouth! It’s pretty gross!”

While viewers are usually captivated by the glamour of Strictly, the judges’ scores this week were surprisingly lower than they were last week.

Lewis and Katya had a fantastic week on Strictly Come Dancing, earning a perfect score of 40. It was hard to improve on that, so their subsequent performances naturally weren’t quite as high.

Despite a slightly lower score of 8 from Craig Revel Horwood – which was different from the other judges who all gave 9s – the couple still received a very good total of 35 points.

Lewis and Katya danced the Cha Cha to Pete Rodriguez’s “I Like It Like That.” Later in the show, they also performed to songs by artists like Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Queen, Diana Ross, and Aretha Franklin.
