Terry Stone talks Bad Boy!

We chat to ……

Terry Stone is widely recognized for playing Tony Tucker in the Rise of the Footsoldier movies, but he also works behind the camera as a director and producer. His newest project as a producer is the documentary Bad Boy.

What’s Bad Boy about?

In February 2006, armed robbers targeted the Securitas depot in Tonbridge, resulting in the largest cash heist in UK history – a staggering £53 million was stolen. The robbery led to 36 arrests, including Jeremy Bailey. After four years of intense police investigation and court proceedings, all charges against Bailey were dropped. However, the event continues to negatively impact his life even now.

The background …

Born in Basingstoke, Bailey fell into a life of crime at an early age. At 16, homeless and penniless, he made a lifechanging turn into the world of prize fighting and worked hard to become an MMA fighter and kickboxing champion, but his criminal ties held firm.

What’s in the documentary?

Featuring brand new interviews with Bailey, his lawyer, director Terry Stone and UFC champion Michael Bisping, Bad Boy charts the fighter’s life from his criminal connections to working security in the ‘90s rave scene and reveals never before heard details on the harrowing experience of forever being associated with the Securitas heist.  But beyond the rumours and rebellious reputation, the documentary dives deep into his astonishing career in the world of mixed martial arts and Bailey’s work to better his community through his Basingstoke gym.
The interview…..
From the street to the ring, this knockout documentary is an introduction to the man behind the Bad Boy and a real-life fight for his reputation. Bad Boy talks to both Bailey and his solicitor at the time about what went on and how it impacted on Bailey’s life and how he has tried to rebuild his life since the case was closed.
