Do you remember Man vs Bee? This funny Netflix series, which has nine short episodes, features Rowan Atkinson playing a new character named Trevor Bingley. It first came out in 2022.
After a break, Jack Atkinson is back as Trevor in a new series called Man vs Baby. This follow-up will have four half-hour episodes, and a trailer has just been released offering a sneak peek.
The new trailer shows Trevor, a school caretaker, unexpectedly becoming responsible for a baby who’s left at the school. It’s clear things quickly become chaotic for him and the little one.

Okay, so I’m really excited about this new show! Basically, after that whole chaotic housesitting gig – you might remember Rowan Atkinson dealing with a bee in ‘Man vs Bee’ – Trevor Bingley is trying to simplify things. He’s traded the stress of looking after fancy homes for a much calmer job as a school caretaker. It seems like a good move for him, honestly!
Everything changes when Trevor receives a well-paying job caring for a fancy London apartment over the Christmas holidays. However, on the last day of school, he’s surprised to find no one picks up the Baby Jesus from the school’s nativity play, leaving him unexpectedly responsible for a very small and unusual companion.
Trevor’s hoping for a peaceful Christmas, but with a new baby and a fancy penthouse to look after, will things stay calm, or will the holidays turn chaotic?
The trailer also showed us some of the new actors who will be in the series, like Steve Edge, Sunetra Sarker, Sunil Patel, Susannah Fielding, and Ashley Jensen.
Claudie Blakley is back in her role from season 1, playing Trevor’s long-suffering ex-wife Jess.
