The highly-rated horror game Silent Hill 2 is coming to more platforms later this month. The remake, developed by Bloober Team, will be available for Xbox Series X|S owners starting November 21st, 2025.
For the past year, the new Silent Hill 2 game was only available on PlayStation consoles, though it was also released on PC at the same time. Now that year-long exclusivity deal has ended, and it appears Konami is preparing to release the game on other platforms.
True Achievements noticed a Microsoft Store listing revealing that the survival horror game will launch on November 21st, 2025. An official announcement from Konami is expected soon. Like the PS5 and PC versions, the game will be available in standard and Deluxe Editions, and a new bundle including both this remake and Silent Hill F will also be offered.
When the Silent Hill 2 remake dropped on PS5, I gave it a 9 out of 10. Honestly, playing it felt like revisiting a masterpiece. The core of what made the original so incredible back in 2001 is still there – that unforgettable story, the rewarding way you explore, and even the impactful combat. There was a lot of worry before release, but the game really speaks for itself. It’s a truly spectacular experience and, for me, it proves Silent Hill 2 is still one of the best survival horror games ever made.
