Allison Mack’s Husband Revealed as Former Neo-Nazi Frank Meeink

More details of Allison Mack’s life after NXIVM are coming to light.

Five months after she announced her marriage to Frank, podcast host Natalie Robehmed revealed his identity as Frank Meeink. Meeink is a former neo-Nazi and was once part of a white supremacist skinhead group. This information came to light during an appearance by the couple on the Allison After NXIVM podcast.

Okay, so get this – I found out Allison and him actually met at a dog park in L.A. back in February 2024! It’s just… incredible. It’s wild to think about, because it was almost a year after she finally got out. You know, after those two years she spent in prison for that whole NXIVM thing? It was this ‘self-help’ group, but everyone who left said it was basically a cult, and she was really involved. So yeah, a dog park… after all of that. I’ve been following her story for years, and this is just… a lot!

Allison, 43, and Frank, 50, connected because they both had been to prison. Frank shared how his own experiences gave him insight into what Allison had gone through.

Having worked with people who used to be involved in extremist groups – including jihadists, gang members, and neo-Nazis – Frank explained that it’s incredibly difficult to leave those lifestyles. He noted that, for many, these groups provide a sense of belonging and purpose, making it hard to break away, as it’s often the only thing giving them validation.

But their first conversation was about something else altogether.

Allison remembered the first thing the man said to her was, ‘Your dog has such pretty pink skin.’ She noted he had a strong East Coast accent, and she immediately asked if he was from New York because she likes the city.

Once Allison found out Frank was from Philadelphia, she started talking about her favorite art museums there, which encouraged him to share stories about how he grew up.

She remembered him saying, “I didn’t grow up in that part of Philadelphia.” When she asked where he was from, he replied, “I’m from South Philly. It’s a rough neighborhood.”

Allison discovered that Frank had completely changed his life after meeting him at the Thai restaurant where he worked. She knew from his book, Autobiography of a Recovering Skinhead, that he’d had a troubled past, including a prison sentence at age 17 for kidnapping and attempted murder.

Allison remembered him saying he was a public speaker, so she asked what his topics were. He responded that he spoke about tolerance, de-radicalization, and police reform. Allison was surprised, replying that she had personal experience with the prison system and was also very involved in prison reform, finding the coincidence remarkable.

They bonded over their shared desire to improve the prison system. She then asked if he’d watched the documentary Why We Hate by Steven Spielberg, and he surprised her by revealing he was actually in the series.

Honestly, it’s just incredible to see everything Frank’s done since getting out. He’s not just living his life, he’s fighting for change! He’s become this amazing speaker, a real voice for civil rights, and can you believe he actually testified before Congress in 2020? Natalie told me all about it – he spoke directly to them about white supremacy in policing. It’s just…wow. He’s a hero, seriously.

Because of his own difficult experiences, Frank could truly understand what Allison went through with NXIVM.

Frank remembered that she wasn’t trying to justify her actions. She simply explained that several women had been branded, and that was a key reason she ended up in prison.

According to Frank, Allison referred to her involvement with NXIVM—an organization created by Keith Raniere—as being “part of a cult.”

He explained that it started with a man and became a sort of sex cult. She specifically used the word ‘cult,’ saying he was the one who transformed it into one.

After Allison shared what happened with Frank, he reassured her that he didn’t judge her for it.

He recounted simply telling her, ‘I used to be a neo-Nazi and even kidnapped people.’ Then he asked, ‘Do you really think I’m in a position to judge anyone?’

Frank added, “‘No, I don’t judge you at all.’”
