December is shaping up to be a busy month, especially for fans of Gran Turismo 7. Not only does it bring the major Spec 3 update, but series creator Kazunori Yamauchi recently announced something entirely new during the latest State of Play presentation: the Power Pack.
The Power Pack is launching with the Spec 3 update on December 4th, and it’s focused on delivering a truly authentic racing experience. This includes features like 24-hour races designed for dedicated racing fans. While details are still coming, it looks like a very substantial addition to the game.
Gran Turismo 7 is available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. As of June 25th, the entire Gran Turismo series has sold over 100 million copies! While the developers, Polyphony Digital, haven’t specified how many sales came from the latest game, it remains popular. You can find our original review of the game, as well as our updated thoughts after years of improvements and additions.
