Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds DLC ‘SpongeBob SquarePants Pack’ launches in November; free character updates NiGHTS, AiAi, Tangle, and Whisper to follow

SEGA has announced that the “SpongeBob SquarePants Pack” downloadable content for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will be available on November 19th at 5:00 PM Pacific Time / 8:00 PM Eastern Time.

The pack will include the following content:

SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star as playable characters
Patty Wagon Vehicle
Bikini Bottom Themed Course
New SpongeBob SquarePants-inspired Music Tracks
Six different emotes per character

Additionally, the following free content is also planned for release:

NiGHTS (December 2025)
- NiGHTS as a playable character
- Dream Sleeper Vehicle
Super Monkey Ball (January 2026)
- AiAi as a playable character
- Banana Cruiser Vehicle
Sonic the Hedgehog (IDW Publishing) (February 2026)
- Tangle and Whisper as playable characters

You can now play Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (through Steam and the Epic Games Store). It will also be released for the Switch 2 on December 4th.
