A trailer for Season 5 of The Boys is likely coming soon. With Gen V Season 2 now finished, fans are waiting for the next installment of The Boys universe, which is set to premiere in 2026. Everyone is especially curious to see how the series will conclude and who will ultimately defeat Homelander. Now that filming wrapped in July, the promotional campaign for Season 5 is expected to begin any day now.
The cast of The Boys will be at CCXP Brazil on Saturday, December 6th at 8 p.m. local time (6 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT). The panel is expected to start promoting Season 5 of the Amazon Prime Video show, and fans might get a first look at the trailer for the season, which is scheduled to release in 2026.

As a huge fan of The Boys, I was so excited when Amazon Prime Video dropped the first trailer for Season 4 at CCXP back in December 2023! We got a sneak peek at what’s coming, and it definitely got me hyped. But, frustratingly, even with that first look, they didn’t actually tell us when it would be released until February 2024. The wait was agonizing, but now we finally have a premiere date to look forward to!
Now that Season 2 of Gen V has finished and Season 5 of The Boys is coming soon, CCXP will likely be where the official marketing campaign for the new season begins. If past seasons are any indication, we can expect the first trailer for The Boys Season 5 to be revealed at CCXP on Saturday, September 6th, though details about when the season will actually be released probably won’t be announced.
As a huge fan of The Boys, I’ve noticed it always comes out in the summer, usually between June and September. The last couple of seasons actually started pretty early in the summer, so I’m really hoping we’ll see Season 5 – the final season! – hit Amazon Prime Video around June. Fingers crossed!
The Boys Could Reveal New Spin-Off Info At CCXP Too

Eric Kripke, the creator of The Boys, will be at CCXP on December 6th with the show’s cast, and he’s likely to share news about the spin-offs Gen V and Vought Rising.
Just before the season finale aired on Prime Video, Gen V was quickly renewed for a second season. While discussing updates on four different spin-offs of The Boys, Eric Kripke revealed that whether or not Season 3 of Gen V happens depends on how many people watch. This means an announcement at CCXP (Comic Con Experience) is still possible.
I’m so excited! They’ve officially started filming Vought Rising! Production began in August and is expected to continue all the way through the end of 2025. Hopefully, we’ll get a sneak peek at some new footage or at least hear more details about the show soon.
CCXP is happening in Brazil, and a new version of The Boys set in Mexico is in the works. Although the December event might seem like a good opportunity to reveal details about The Boys: Mexico, the showrunner recently mentioned they’re still writing the first episode, so significant updates are unlikely at this time.
