The Night Manager and Top Boy stars set for key roles in Dune spin-off series

HBO has added Indira Varma, Ashley Walters, and Tom Hollander to the cast of Dune: Prophecy for its second season.

This series takes place 10,000 years before the stories in Frank Herbert’s Dune and the recent Dune movies directed by Denis Villeneuve. It’s based on the prequel novel Sisterhood of Dune by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.

Indira Varma is famous for her role as Ellaria Sand in Game of Thrones and will also be in the second season of The Night Manager. Ashley Walters is well-known for playing Dushane, a drug lord, in Top Boy.

Hollander is becoming well-known for playing the sophisticated con man Quentin in the second season of The White Lotus.

No character details have been revealed for their roles yet.

The network announced that filming for the second season has started, and it will take place in Hungary, Jordan, and Spain, along with the news about the actors who have been cast.

Season 2 of the show will have more episodes than Season 1. While the first season had six episodes, the new season will feature eight.

We don’t yet know much about what will happen in season two of Dune: Prophecy, but the first season tells the story of the Harkonnen sisters and how the secretive Bene Gesserit order began.

Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, Jodhi May, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Josh Heuston, Chloe Lea, Jade Anouka, and Faoileann Cunningham will be back, and they’ll be joined by new cast members Varma, Walters, and Hollander.

Edward Davis, Aoife Hinds, Chris Mason, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Jessica Barden, Emma Canning, Yerin Ha, Barbara Marten, and Tessa Bonham Jones are all set to reprise their roles.
