The hardest boss in Where Winds Meet are actually random geese

Although Where Winds Meet isn’t available everywhere yet, players have discovered the game’s biggest threat – and it’s surprisingly not a boss, but geese!

Everstone Studio’s new RPG is a free-to-play, open-world adventure set in ancient China during a turbulent time known as the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period.

Players might be anticipating intense battles against warriors and mythical creatures, but surprisingly, it’s a simple goose that’s proving to be the biggest threat, according to popular online videos.

Where Winds Meet geese are the real bosses

In a funny moment from the game, the player tries to hit a goose, but immediately wishes they hadn’t. The goose quickly retaliates with a fast and angry attack, complete with flapping wings, loud honks, and even a health bar showing the damage!

What’s truly frightening is that your attacks barely seem to affect the enemy, but its attacks hit incredibly hard, leaving you stunned and wondering what just happened.

This funny battle reminds you of the chickens in The Legend of Zelda – those famously angry birds that relentlessly attack if you bother them. But instead of chickens, you’re facing a kung fu goose, and this one isn’t afraid to take you down!

I just watched another clip, and it was the same story – another player got totally wrecked by that ridiculously powerful goose! It’s seriously intimidating.

Just a heads-up: geese are surprisingly tough opponents! Seriously, they can really do some damage… 😂 #WhereWindsMeet

The game Where Winds Meet launches on November 14, 2025, for PC, mobile devices, and PlayStation 5. It’s already very popular, with over 10 million players signing up in advance. Based on what we’ve seen, players should probably avoid conflict with the animals in the game – especially if they make a honking sound!
