Ex-WWE Star Braun Strowman Releases Tearful Video About Everything On The Menu’s Ratings

Braun Strowman has had a pretty eventful year. After being released by WWE in May—following a history of injuries—he landed a role in a new USA Network show called Everything on the Menu. The show, which features Strowman eating massive amounts of food, quickly became one of the network’s most popular programs. This week, Strowman shared an emotional video about his success with the show.

I was really touched by a post from Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson this week. He was celebrating how well Everything on the Menu is doing – it gained over 146,000 new viewers just last week! He started off sounding proud, which is totally him, but it quickly turned really heartfelt. He talked about being unsure of what his life would look like after wrestling, and it was just a really raw, honest, and emotional moment. I highly recommend checking it out – it’s a side of him you don’t always see.

It’s been a tough stretch for Adam Scherr, known as Strowman. A neck injury in 2023 put him out of action right when he was starting to develop the idea for Everything on the Menu. After returning to WWE, he and his team began planning his next move, and when his contract was eventually terminated, the USA Network quickly expressed interest. It’s been a really challenging time for him emotionally.

It’s been a really tough time, honestly – losing my job and everything I’d worked for left me feeling lost and uncertain about what the future held. But I’m so incredibly grateful for the amazing support everyone has shown for the show. I just wanted to take a moment and say thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I’m a big fan of Everything on the Menu, and it’s easy to see why the show is doing well. The concept is simple but effective: each episode, chef Braun explores a classic local eatery, sampling their best meats, before moving on to a more modern restaurant where he tries every single item on the menu. He shares his thoughts on all the food, and we get a peek inside the kitchen and hear from the chef. While some aspects are similar to other food shows, the idea of trying everything is what makes this one stand out. I love watching Braun tackle the entire menu, and it means we get to see a wider variety of dishes from each restaurant than we usually do on TV.

Beyond Braun’s playful habit of ordering everything on the menu, I genuinely think he’s a great TV host. He’s clearly enthusiastic and knows a lot about food. Plus, WWE stars have a history of being open about what they eat. While the first season definitely felt like a learning experience, I’ve really enjoyed each episode, and it’s become one of the first shows my husband and I choose when deciding what to watch.

In the video, Braun shares that the audience for his podcast, Everything on the Menu, is increasing rapidly week after week.

I’m excited to share some amazing news with everyone! Last week, “Everything on the Menu” received its highest viewership ever, with over 580,000 people tuning in. That’s an increase of 146,000 viewers from the previous week, and I’m absolutely thrilled and a little overwhelmed!

You might have noticed Braun Strowman talking a lot about his love of red meat, but I don’t really have any complaints. “Everything on the Menu” is a genuinely good show, especially considering it’s a food show created by people who usually work with Braun – even Triple H is a producer! I’m not sure if WWE will be able to replicate this success often with their talent outside of wrestling, but if this is how popular, retired performers transition to new careers, I’m definitely on board.

As for what Braun is doing next, he’s expressed interest in playing Jason Voorhees…
