As a big Power Rangers fan, I’m so excited about this new phase for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers! We’re still learning about what’s coming in the shows and movies, but the toys are already here, and they’re awesome. Playmates Toys released a line called Re-Ignition with figures, Morphers, Zords – everything! The Megazord Battle Pack includes all five Dinozords, each with its own weapon. You can combine them to form the powerful Megazord, and it also comes with a Mega Power Sword. This set includes the Tyrannosaurus, Mastodon, Triceratops, Sabertooth Tiger, and Pterodactyl Dinozords. When combined, they form the Megazord, which can transform into two modes: the standard Battle Mode and the powerful Tank Mode. Both modes look great and will make a significant impact as a display piece.
I’ve really tested out the Megazord, and it feels solid and well-built – it doesn’t feel flimsy at all. It also holds its poses nicely; the joints are a little stiff, which is good because it doesn’t feel like they’ll break when you move it.
The Zords look great together, and their see-through weapons are a nice touch. This set doesn’t include the small Power Rangers figures that usually come with the Zords, but it’s not a major drawback. You can find more details in the official description of the Megazord Battle Pack below.
