Like a tango, it takes two to feud—just ask Jen Affleck.
One of the reasons for recent friction between Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jen and Whitney Leavitt was their shared ambition to appear on Dancing With the Stars. Jen expressed her frustration with Whitney’s return to social media influencing—something Whitney had paused during the second season of their show—believing Whitney was motivated by a desire to gain opportunities for herself, specifically a spot on DWTS.
Jen explained on their Hulu series that she’s always dreamed of being on Dancing With the Stars and told her partner from the beginning. She feels frustrated because as soon as the show became a possibility, her partner suddenly claimed it was also one of her longtime dreams.
She does have a point. Whitney confessed that wanting to be on Dancing With the Stars was a major reason she stayed with the group, which also includes Taylor Frankie Paul, Mikayla Matthews, Mayci Neeley, Demi Engemann, Jessi Ngatikaura, and Layla Taylor.
However, the 32-year-old also emphasized that she was there for “sisterhood” as well.
Honestly, it really hurt how cold the other women were when I came back. I put so much effort into trying to rebuild our friendship, but they met me with a lot of hostility. That’s actually why I was hesitant to return, but then Dancing With the Stars came along. It’s a dream opportunity for me, and I decided I was going to pursue it, no matter what. I’m not ashamed of wanting something great for myself.
Both women ended up competing on season 34 of Dancing with the Stars. Jen, age 26, was paired with Jan Ravnik, and Whitney danced with professional dancer Mark Ballas.
After Jen was voted off the competition in October, she hinted at ongoing issues with Whitney. During a TikTok Live stream, she jokingly said she’d support another creator known from “MomTok,” but quickly added she wouldn’t be discussing the details of their conflict.

Okay, so things are totally over, and Jen actually said it – to TopMob News, of all places! She straight-up told them in early November that she and Whitney have “no relationship” whatsoever. Like, can you believe it? It’s just…wow. I’m devastated, obviously, but she really put her foot down. No relationship! It’s final, I guess.
Things haven’t been easy lately, and honestly, we’ve needed some space to sort things out. It’s a tough spot, but right now, we’re not really speaking to each other.
Whitney didn’t reach the final round of Dancing with the Stars, getting eliminated on the November 19th show. However, she expressed her thanks for being a part of the experience.
After being eliminated, she told TopMob that she always tried her best in every performance. She acknowledged that some things are unavoidable, but she’s leaving knowing she gave it everything she had.
