007 First Light wouldn’t be a James Bond game without an Aston Martin car, but why wait? — You can already drive it in this other Xbox game

IO Interactive offered another glimpse at their upcoming James Bond game, 007 First Light, during Thursday’s Xbox Partner Preview. The game will tell a new story about Bond’s beginnings.

Aston Martin cars are a classic part of the James Bond experience, and that tradition continues in this new title. A recent trailer showed off a customized Aston Martin Valhalla, a supercar that originally appeared in the 2021 film *No Time to Die*. While Daniel Craig’s Bond didn’t drive the Valhalla in that movie, players will get the chance in this game.

This Valhalla has a few differences from the legendary hall in mythology, most notably the addition of 7.62 machine guns, which can quickly eliminate anyone trying to escape.

If you can’t wait for 2026, drive the Valhalla around in Forza Horizon 5

If you’re eager to experience the Aston Martin Valhalla, you can drive a 2019 concept version in the video game Forza Horizon 5, developed by Playground Games.

Forza Horizon 5 is available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows PC (through Steam and the Xbox app), and it also recently came to PlayStation 5. Plus, it’s included with Xbox Game Pass.

While the in-game version won’t have all the unique features of James Bond’s car, it’s likely the only chance most of us will get to drive the Valhalla – considering only 999 of these cars will ever be made – until the ‘007 First Light’ game is released.

Bond is set to arrive next year

Everything we’ve seen of the upcoming 007 First Light game looks fantastic. The developers at IO Interactive are building on the gameplay they perfected in the Hitman series, but are adding unique elements to make this a distinctly Bond experience. Interestingly, the game is being built with an updated version of the same Glacier engine used for the Hitman games.

Trailers have showcased a blend of stealth, strategic problem-solving, and intense action, showing Bond adapting to situations in a variety of ways.

Currently, 007 First Light is one of my most anticipated games of 2026, and I’m excited to see more as development progresses.
