Gearbox Software is making the first downloadable content pack for Borderlands 4, called ‘How Rush Saved Mercenary Day,’ available to all players at no cost. Previously, it was only accessible with the season pass. PS5 owners can download it now through a game update.
Because this content was initially planned only for season pass holders, the developer is creating an extra Bounty Pack. This ensures season pass owners still receive the four Bounty Packs that were originally promised, even with today’s free release.
We’re releasing a new update today with missions for all players! It also includes a Vault Card that unlocks bonus rewards, including up to 24 different cosmetic items. Check out a preview of what’s available in the image below.
To begin the Bounty Pack event, find the Christmas gift located in each of the main areas of the game. Clicking on it will start a mission where you help Rush.
Gearbox Software announced that a tough new boss fight will be added to the game for free in mid-December. Called Bloomreaper the Invincible, this challenging endgame content is designed to really test players’ skills and character builds in a brand new arena. These ‘Invincible’ bosses are incredibly powerful, with huge health bars, devastating attacks, and unique challenges, making them the hardest opponents in the game so far.
