Marciano Brunette Addresses Demi Engemann’s “Unwanted Touch” Claims

Marciano Brunette is defending himself against allegations made by Demi Engemann.

Following an allegation made by Demi on season three of The Secret Wives of Mormon Wives—which began airing November 13th—that Marciano had touched her inappropriately earlier in the year, the Vanderpump Villa star publicly refuted the claim.

He stated in a November 20th statement to People magazine that he was taking the situation very seriously. He described it as the most challenging of his life, and strongly denied the allegations, calling them both untrue and harmful. He pledged to deal with the issue openly and completely.

After Marciano disputed the claims, a spokesperson for Demi told TopMob News they were upset that the incident involving Demi was being downplayed, expressing concern as a woman about the minimization of what happened.

The third season of SLOMW showed what happened when the cast went to Italy to film an episode with Vanderpump Villa. During the trip, other moms from Demi’s online community wondered if she and Marciano had become intimate. Marciano admitted to kissing Demi, but she insisted that any physical contact was not welcome.

Everyone reacts to difficult situations in their own way. Demi shared, ‘You should never tolerate unwanted physical contact. It doesn’t matter what happened before or after, or what the relationship is – if you don’t want to be touched, that’s enough.’

Demi, age 30, first shared the story in May during an interview on The Viall Files, stating she was inappropriately touched while filming with the cast. Although she didn’t identify the person she accused at the time, Chris Marciano publicly responded on social media, calling her claims “crazy.”

He questioned, in a video posted to Instagram on May 20th, “If you felt that way, why were you following me? Why did you share your phone number and then talk for hours, continuing to stay in touch after that?”

Marciano added, “It doesn’t make sense to me whatsoever.”
