Candace Cameron Bure is no longer going full out on feuds.
The Full House actress revealed she’s developed a better strategy for handling online drama, something she’s had plenty of experience with – including past disagreements with JoJo Siwa and Jodie Sweetin.
Candace explained on the Stay True podcast on November 17th that she generally avoids responding to comments. She believes arguing online doesn’t accomplish anything and can actually make things worse, as defending yourself can diminish your credibility.
The 49-year-old playfully said many of the disagreements she’s had – which she doesn’t consider arguments on her part – were simply strange.
But Candace is now in a place where she lets “God fight my battles a lot online.”
I also allow my true fans to defend me when needed,” she explained. “Sometimes people misinterpret things, and they’ll say, ‘That’s not how she would act, or that’s not what she intended.’
For the former Fuller House star—who has three adult children, Natasha (27), Lev (25), and Maksim (23), with her husband Valeri Bure—it requires a lot of willpower to avoid replying to everything immediately.
She explained that she realized she needed to stop trying to please everyone and instead focus on living a life that aligns with her values and beliefs, asking for guidance in learning and making good decisions. She said that was the most important thing for her.
It also requires “a lot of patience” for her as well as “grace for people.”

She said she prays for the Holy Spirit to help her stay in control, particularly when things get tough, because it feels impossible to make everyone happy. You simply can’t please both sides, and eventually, you have to accept that and move on.
The former child star didn’t talk about past disagreements, but her Full House co-star, Jodie, recently explained their differences, specifically regarding LGBTQ+ issues. Jodie insists they don’t actually have a serious conflict.
She explained on The Vault with Monica & Amir podcast in April that they’ve always had differing opinions on certain issues, and those differences are now becoming more apparent.
Candace and Jodie have resolved their disagreement privately, but keep reading to discover some of the biggest celebrity feuds happening right now.

In January 2024, Bobby (the second person from the left in the picture) spoke about rumors of a disagreement with Tan (in the middle). This came two months after Bobby announced he was leaving Queer Eye after being on the show for eight seasons.
He told Vanity Fair that he and Tan are doing okay despite a personal issue they’ve been dealing with. He emphasized that the situation is private and doesn’t affect their work on the show, and it wasn’t a romantic matter.
In March 2024, Tan addressed claims that he tried to get his friend Jeremiah Brent to replace Bobby on the show Queer Eye.
Netflix and the production team held extensive auditions. I didn’t recommend my friend for the role, but they ultimately got it because they were the most qualified. I also want to be clear that I didn’t help them get the job by having anyone else removed from consideration, as he explained in an Instagram post.

After years of speculation about a disagreement, Holly Marie Combs, Shannen Doherty’s former co-star on Charmed, revealed in a December 2023 podcast episode that Alyssa Milano supposedly gave a show producer an ultimatum: choose her or Shannen. Combs claims this led to Shannen leaving the show in 2001.
In a February 2024 Instagram post, Alyssa stated she couldn’t get anyone fired and that accounts of the events from that time were likely inaccurate and based on altered memories, given how long ago they happened.
At a MegaCon Orlando panel, Shannen stated that, to her knowledge, the story as it was originally told remains accurate and hasn’t been altered.
Shannen passed away in July 2024 after a yearslong battle with cancer.

During a September 2023 game of “Stir the Pot” with her daughter, Kelly Osbourne, on TopMob News, Sharon Osbourne revealed that she considered Topher Grace, of “That ’70s Show” fame, to be the rudest celebrity she’d ever encountered. She described him as a very rude and unpleasant person.
He did not respond to her remarks publicly.
Five years ago, Sharon shared with Larry King that Ashton seemed upset during his 2014 appearance on The Talk because she had misspoken his name.
She remembered him asking, ‘Who are you and what have you accomplished in this field?’ She responded sharply, telling him, ‘Don’t underestimate me, because I’ll completely overwhelm you.’ She essentially warned him, ‘You have no idea what you’re up against.’

In August 2022, Cassadee Pope and Maren Morris clashed with Brittany Aldean, the wife of country singer Jason Aldean, after Brittany posted a video on Instagram. In the video, posted on August 23rd, she thanked her parents for not allowing her to transition during a phase where she preferred traditionally masculine interests, and expressed her enjoyment of a feminine lifestyle.

In a 2022 TikTok trend, JoJo Siwa called Candace Cameron Bure the “rudest” celebrity she’d met, explaining that Bure once turned down her request for a photo on the red carpet. Soon after, Bure publicly apologized, saying she regretted hurting Siwa’s feelings as an 11-year-old fan and was truly sorry for not taking the picture.
Candace and the other person resolved their differences. However, when asked months later if her network, Great American Family, would ever feature same-sex couples as the main characters in its holiday movies, she said it wouldn’t. She explained that the network would continue to focus on traditional marriage.
JoJo, who publicly shared they are part of the LGBTQ+ community in 2021, responded to the actress’s comment on Instagram, calling it “rude and hurtful” to the entire LGBTQ+ community.

In June 2021, Courtney Love claimed that Olivia Rodrigo had copied the album cover art for Courtney’s band, Hole, in a promotional photo without giving credit. Olivia responded with a simple, “Love u and live through this sooooo much.” Courtney then playfully replied, “Olivia – you’re welcome. My favorite florist is in Notting Hill, London! DM me for details! I look forward to reading your note [winking face emoji].”

While on Watch What Happens Live, the Happy Days actor explained the reason for his difficult relationship with the Forrest Gump star while filming the 1989 movie Turner & Hooch.
I directed the movie for thirteen days, and then Jeff Katzenberg, the producer, called me into his office and told me to pack up and go home, as I had everything I needed.
Winkler and Hanks’ dog seemed to get along very well. “I really loved that dog,” Winkler said.
He also refused to admit if he’s even seen the flick.

“You know what you did!”
Anyone who watched The Hills likely remembers that famous line from Lauren, spoken at the start of season three. The drama between her and Heidi began when Heidi started dating Spencer Pratt, and it really exploded when Lauren claimed Heidi and Spencer spread a false rumor about her and Jason Wahler making a sex tape.

Tyrese and Dwayne Johnson had a public falling out after the release date for Fast & Furious 9 was delayed to April 2020. On the same day, a spin-off movie featuring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham was announced, set to release in 2019. Shortly after, Tyrese said he would leave Fast 9 if Dwayne Johnson was still involved.
Tyrese recently discussed the conflict with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, telling Van Lathan on The Red Pill podcast that they still haven’t spoken directly, though he hopes to. He mentioned he did speak with one of Johnson’s producing partners, but not with Johnson himself.
Tyrese admitted he shouldn’t have publicly shared frustrations on behalf of others connected to the franchise, saying it was unprofessional and a mistake he takes responsibility for. He explained he was the only one who spoke out, and that was his fault.

No more bad blood here.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen my fair share of public disagreements, and the one between Taylor Swift and Katy Perry was definitely a memorable one! For years, they seemed to be at odds – there were even rumors that their tension fueled Taylor’s hit song, “Bad Blood.” It all supposedly started over something pretty trivial – a backup dancer and some competition during tour seasons. Thankfully, things took a turn for the better when Katy reached out with a really sweet gesture – she sent Taylor an actual olive branch right before Taylor’s Reputation tour began. It was a beautiful way to signal a fresh start and put the drama behind them!
Taylor shared in an Instagram video that she found a real olive branch in her dressing room, saying it meant a lot to her.
Taylor captioned the video, “Thank you Katy.”

For years, Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker, stars of Sex and the City, dismissed rumors of a disagreement. However, those rumors resurfaced when Kim chose not to participate in a third movie and later made some pointed comments about her co-star.
I remember being asked about Kim Cattrall’s comments on Watch What Happens Live back in September 2017. Andy Cohen brought it up – she’d told Piers Morgan we weren’t actually friends, just coworkers – and it definitely caught me off guard. It was a tough conversation to navigate live on air, to say the least!
She was deeply upset, saying she felt heartbroken. They had discussed it the previous week, and she explained that she found the situation really disturbing because her memory of what happened was completely different.
It’s definitely sad, but I believe what truly connects us is the unique experience we shared. It started as a professional relationship, but over many years, it became deeply personal. I’m hoping that the strength of those years and the special connection we all had will outweigh any recent disagreements. It was a privilege to be a part of something so meaningful with so many people.
And though they didn’t film scenes together, Kim did make a small appearance on And Just Like That.

Okay, let’s talk about some classic diva drama! As someone who’s followed the music scene for years, I remember when things really heated up between Elton John and Madonna back in 2004. It all went down at the Q Awards when Elton, accepting an award, publicly called out Madonna’s live performances. He basically said – and I’m paraphrasing to keep it clean! – that if you’re paying good money to see a concert, you expect a live performance, not lip-syncing. He felt pretty strongly about it, to say the least, and let the audience know! It sparked a pretty famous feud that’s lasted for years.

The actress, formerly on Grey’s Anatomy, caused a disagreement with the show’s creator back in 2008 when she asked to not be considered for an Emmy Award. She explained that she didn’t think her storylines that season were strong enough to deserve a nomination.
Shonda Rhimes discussed Katherine’s choice in a 2012 interview with Oprah Winfrey on Oprah’s Next Chapter. She admitted it was both hurtful and expected. “When someone shows you their true colors, pay attention,” Shonda explained. “I’ve really taken that to heart, and it’s been a valuable lesson for me.”

The fight between Nicki and Cardi at the Harper’s Bazaar Icon party during New York Fashion Week made headlines everywhere. A month later, Cardi publicly explained what started the argument with Nicki.
Cardi B told W magazine that someone has been repeatedly criticizing her. She explained that she’d talked to this person twice and thought they had resolved the issue, but the criticism continued.
The conflict really escalated when Cardi B noticed Nicki Minaj had supposedly reacted to a tweet criticizing Cardi’s parenting, though Nicki claims she didn’t actually engage with it.
Cardi B explained she turned down a potentially hugely profitable Bruno Mars tour because she wanted to be with her daughter. She strongly defended her parenting, saying she’s a dedicated mother. She also pushed back against criticism about where she encountered another artist, stating opportunities like that don’t come around often, and she wouldn’t likely run into them casually.

The conflict between Kanye West and Taylor Swift began in 2009 when he interrupted her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards. Although they later reconciled and became friends, their relationship fell apart in 2016 after Kanye released his song “Famous,” which included lyrics referencing Taylor.
Just before the Grammy Awards in February 2025, Kanye West began following only Taylor Swift on Instagram. He didn’t offer any explanation for this action, and Swift didn’t publicly acknowledge it.

“I don’t know her.”
The supposed rivalry between Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez has been talked about for over 15 years. It began during an interview where Mariah was asked about other singers, and when asked about Jennifer Lopez, she famously said, “I don’t know her.”
