How to watch Wicked: For Good – can you stream it?

Get ready for ‘Wicked: For Good’! Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo are returning to the big screen in this highly anticipated musical.

The new movie continues the story of Wicked, picking up after Elphaba (played by Cynthia Erivo) flees from the Wizard’s army when she realizes he’s not who everyone thinks he is. Meanwhile, Glinda (Ariana Grande) is now a famous and admired public figure.

You’ll also encounter beloved characters from The Wizard of Oz – Dorothy, the Tin Man, the Lion, and the Scarecrow – who were briefly shown in the first trailer released in June, hinting at their role in the second movie.

Although the movie will share some elements with The Wizard of Oz, the story will primarily center on the connection between Elphaba and Glinda and their individual adventures.

In addition to introducing Dorothy, the latest movie trailers have hinted at new songs and the wedding of Prince Fiyero (Jonathan Bailey) and Glinda.

How to watch Wicked: For Good – can you stream it?

Currently, Wicked: For Good is only available to watch in cinemas.

In the US, Wicked became available to stream on Peacock on March 21, 2025, following its theatrical release in November 2024.

If the release schedule for Wicked: For Good stays on track, US viewers likely won’t be able to stream it until sometime between mid-March and late March 2026.

Although some Universal movies become available on Peacock relatively quickly, Wicked: For Good is expected to be a major hit – potentially even more successful than the original. Because of this, Universal will likely keep it in theaters for a significant amount of time and won’t release it on Peacock until after its theatrical run.

The movie Wicked became available on Sky Cinema in the UK in July 2025, eight months after its theatrical release. If the sequel follows a similar schedule, fans in the UK might not have to wait as long to see it at home.

The movie will likely be available to rent or buy online before it’s added to streaming services, both in the United Kingdom and the United States.

Will Wicked: For Good be available on Netflix?

Since the movie was released by Universal, it doesn’t seem likely it will be available on Netflix in the near future.

Universal films become available to stream on Peacock, NBCUniversal’s streaming service, as mentioned earlier.

Will Wicked: For Good be available on Prime Video?

Although it probably won’t be on Netflix, the movie will stream on Prime Video about four months after it’s first released on Peacock.

A deal between Universal and Amazon, starting in 2022, allows Prime Video to stream new movies after their initial cinema run. First, the films are available on Peacock for four months, then they move to Prime Video for ten months, before returning to Peacock for another four months.

If Wicked: For Good starts streaming on Peacock around mid-to-late March 2026, as expected, it likely won’t be available on Prime Video until July 2026.

Will Wicked: For Good be available on Disney+?

So, good news for me and other movie fans – that new Universal flick isn’t heading to Disney+, but I can watch it on Peacock and Prime Video, just like I mentioned earlier.

Will Wicked: For Good be available on NOW?

Although it hasn’t been officially announced, since the first part of Wicked started streaming on Sky Cinema and NOW in July, we anticipate the second part will become available there as well.
