Hailey Bieber’s Beauty Secrets: Glazed Donut Skin, Lazy Makeup & More

When it comes to her beauty regimen, Hailey Bieber is well-versed in putting on a brave face.

To maintain her famously radiant skin, Rhode Skin founder Hailey Bieber regularly gets laser treatments and procedures like Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), which uses her own blood to boost collagen production.

She told Owen Thiele on his October 24th podcast, In Your Dreams, that she prefers activities that rely on natural physical ability. She added that she consistently focuses on those kinds of things.

She’s also stayed true to one hard and fast rule. 

She explained that she’d decided she wouldn’t try Botox until she turned thirty. However, seeing her mom, Kennya Baldwin, age gracefully without ever using it, made her reconsider. She said, ‘When I reach thirty, I’ll decide if I even want to get Botox.’

The beauty entrepreneur, who became a billionaire after starting as a model, will turn 29 on November 22nd, giving her about a year to make a decision.

After a successful year that included selling her company for $1 billion to e.l.f. Beauty in May, and with plans to save most of the money for her and husband Justin Bieber’s 15-month-old son, Jack Blues, she’s now generously giving gifts to others.

Hailey’s birthday makeup collection features lip tints, eye patches, and lip liners, but her best gift is all the beauty advice she’s shared with fans over time.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve always believed that what you put in your body is just as important as what you put on it. That’s why I’m so passionate about nourishing your skin from the inside out! I know it can be tricky finding the right foods to achieve that healthy, radiant ‘glazed donut‘ glow, and I’ve personally experienced that struggle. But trust me, the right nourishment makes all the difference.

She remembers when she was a teenager, she used to try to fix her skin with too many products, believing that would solve the problem. But it actually made things worse, causing irritation, redness, and peeling. Now, she’s learned to take a more balanced approach, adjusting her skincare routine to fit what her skin needs at different times.

Her current skincare routine starts with cleansing, but only if she’s used an exfoliant the night before. She likes to follow up with a hydrating toner or essence to help her skin absorb the products better. Then, she applies her favorite Rhode products, starting with the Peptide Glazing Fluid. If her skin is feeling dry, she’ll also add the Barrier Restore Cream and finish with sunscreen.

That last bit is a never-skip step in her routine. But otherwise, she maintains a light touch. 

As someone deeply involved in the beauty world, I always say that if you’re creating a beauty brand, your look is part of that process! In 2023, I had fun putting my own spin on the ‘latte makeup’ trend we were seeing everywhere on TikTok. I also really loved experimenting with cream blushes to achieve that fresh, ‘strawberry girl’ makeup look – it was all about embracing a natural, dewy glow that year.

But for everyday glam she’s found her sweet spot. 

In an August 2025 interview with Vogue Italia, she shared that becoming a mother has led her to prefer things that simplify her daily life and make her routine easier.

She starts her day by splashing water on her face, followed by oil pulling, a tongue scrape, and a misting of Rhode’s Glazing Mist.

Honestly, as a mom, I totally get it. There are mornings when things are just chaotic – getting my son ready, rushing to get out the door – and I’ll just quickly spritz on some face mist and run. It’s a lifesaver when you’re short on time!

Hailey mentioned that even when she has free time, she prefers to keep her daytime makeup look very simple. She doesn’t really like wearing a lot of makeup during the day.

She always starts with Glazing Milk – it preps her skin for makeup or can be mixed with foundation for a lighter, more natural finish, giving her skin a healthy, glowing look. After that, she applies a hydrating sunscreen, and she prefers brands she finds at European pharmacies, often buying a lot when she visits Paris.

Okay, so after that flawless base, she gets so precise. She uses the tiniest bit of Make Beauty concealer to instantly brighten under her eyes, around her nose, and even her mouth – it’s magic! Then, her brows are always perfect with that Anastasia Beverly Hills gel. And oh my god, the Rhode blush! She just taps it on with her fingers, it’s so natural. She even uses a freckle stamp from Tarte – she says enhancing your freckles makes you look younger, and honestly, I totally agree! Finally, she finishes with that peptide lip contour, and it just pulls everything together. I need to recreate this entire look!

She’s especially known for one product designed to subtly enhance your natural look. As she explained, it’s all about making lips appear a little fuller and more voluminous without being over the top.
