16 Years Later, Boruto Might Be About To Recreate Naruto’s Most Heroic Moment

Beginning with chapter 28 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, the story has launched into a new action-packed arc. The setup strongly echoes a famous battle from Naruto back in 2009 – the one where Naruto finally gained the recognition he’d been striving for. Boruto now finds himself in a similar position, potentially earning the same level of respect as his father, despite previously being seen as a villain. Just like Naruto’s heroic defense of the Hidden Leaf Village against Pain – even after it was devastated – and his subsequent efforts to revive those lost, Boruto has the opportunity to win over his community by stopping the current threat and offering aid.

It’s honestly such a powerful moment watching Boruto fight! For so long, everyone saw Naruto as this little kid with a dangerous beast inside, always fearing what he could do. But when he took on Pain and the Six Paths, people finally realized he wasn’t a threat, he was a hero. Now, seeing Boruto in a similar spot, but even worse – branded a villain and outlaw just because people think he committed murder – it’s heartbreaking. This battle feels like his chance to prove everyone wrong, to finally step out of the shadows and show them he’s a hero too. It’s a really compelling parallel!

Boruto Might Be Celebrated as a Hero Just as Naruto Was After the Latest Battle

The newest fight in Boruto against Mamushi is underway, and Boruto is leading the charge against Mamushi’s clones. He’s quickly showing everyone how capable he is. Over time, more characters are starting to understand the real Boruto, and even resist Eida’s overwhelming power. This change in perspective is happening because people are witnessing Boruto’s actions and realizing the value of his hard work. As Boruto fights to protect the Hidden Leaf Village from Mamushi, the villagers may finally see that he’s not the troublemaker they thought he was.

Boruto faces a much bigger challenge than Naruto did. He’s been directly accused of killing Naruto, the village leader, which is a serious crime. Even if Boruto saves the village, people might not easily forgive him or see him as a hero, unlike Naruto who was celebrated after his victory over Pain. However, Boruto’s actions might at least make the villagers reconsider their opinion of him.

The upcoming battle could have serious consequences, potentially even killing Eida, the target of Mamushi. This would reverse the power that switched Boruto and Kawaki’s fates. Throughout the series, Boruto has been seen as a villain, but recently the story has started to show him in a more heroic light. It’s likely this battle will finally allow the village to see him as a hero, though it might come at the cost of Eida’s life – a possibility the story has been suggesting. This outcome would fit well with the Boruto series, as Boruto hasn’t had the chance to truly shine as the hero, much like his father Naruto did after his fight with Pain. It may finally be his time to step into that role.
