Team Ninja recently revealed more details about their new action RPG, and the Steam page for Nioh 3 has been updated with the game’s system requirements. Like Resident Evil Requiem and Monster Hunter Wilds, you’ll need to be running Windows 11 to play, no matter your hardware.
To run the game, you’ll need at least an Intel Core i5-10400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 processor, 16 GB of memory, and a graphics card like an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 (with 6 GB of VRAM) or an AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT Rev. 2.0 (also with 6 GB of VRAM). With these specs, you should be able to play at 1080p resolution with 30 frames per second using the lowest graphics settings.
To get smooth performance, we recommend a Core i5-10600K or Ryzen 5 5600X processor, 16 GB of RAM, and a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (8 GB) or Radeon RX 6700 XT (12 GB) graphics card. With these specs, you should be able to play at 1080p resolution with 60 frames per second using the “Standard” graphics settings. Keep in mind these results are achieved with upscaling turned on.
For the best performance, Team Ninja suggests using a fast NVMe SSD, though a standard SSD is the minimum requirement. You’ll also need a multi-channel memory setup and 125 GB of free space to install the game. On the bright side, the game supports Frame Generation technology.
Nioh 3 launches on February 6th, 2026, for PS5 and PC.
