Despite the quiet period since GRIME 2 was announced, Clover Bite has been hard at work. They’ve just released the first gameplay trailer for the side-scrolling action game, showing off the player character battling various enemies and bosses.
As a fan, I’m really excited about this new character! They’re incredibly strong – they can handle huge weapons, throw daggers, and even use a bow like it’s nothing. But what really sets them apart is their ability to create these things called Molds, which basically let them change their look and get new weapons. Plus, they can swing around with these tendrils, climbing walls faster than anyone we’ve seen before – even faster than Akhlan! – and they can even knock enemies around from a distance. It’s a really cool power set!
Combat and exploration now move at a much quicker pace, and you can experience it for yourself! A free demo is available now on PC through Steam, letting you fight your way through the Temple of Hands. Players have given it a “Very Positive” rating, with 99% of 127 user reviews being positive.
GRIME 2 doesn’t have a release date, and it’s currently only in development for PC.
