Skate Story coming to PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on day one

The skateboarding adventure game Skate Story will be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers at launch on December 8th, according to publisher Devolver Digital and developer Sam Eng.

Here is an overview of the game, via Devolver Digital:

About

You’re a creature of glass and suffering, trapped in the Underworld. The Devil has offered you a chance at freedom: skate all the way to the Moon and consume it. It’s a simple, yet impossible, task.

Skate through the ruined world of The Emptylands, completing a challenging quest with ollies, kickflips, and grinds. Perfect your balance and movement to navigate the broken streets, and find beauty in landing each trick, like a flawless kickflip.

Embark on a skateboarding adventure where you’ll defeat evil demons, assist a lost frog, and rescue tormented spirits. Start as a novice and become a skilled skater as you battle through hell. Along the way, you’ll uncover the Devil’s surprising weakness: kindness, determination, and a perfectly executed tailslide.

All you need is your skateboard.
