Will there be The Forsytes season 2?

Yes, a second season is happening! It was actually announced way back in June 2025 – even before the first season aired.

Damien Timmer, founder and Chief Creative Officer of Mammoth Screen, expressed his excitement about the upcoming first season of The Forsytes, announcing they’ve already begun working on a second season. He praised Debbie Horsfield’s writing and the show’s growing cast.

Susanne Simpson, who leads scripted content and is an executive producer for Masterpiece, the US broadcaster of the show, expressed her excitement about continuing “The Forsytes” into a second season. She praised the first season and highlighted the excellent cast.

We believe viewers of MASTERPIECE will be captivated by the compelling mix of mystery, love, and excitement in this series.

When will The Forsytes season 2 be released?

I’m eagerly awaiting news about season 2 of The Forsytes! Luckily, I heard the team was able to begin work on it sooner than expected, so I’m hoping we won’t have to wait too long to see what happens next. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a relatively quick return!

The show will probably continue to release new seasons yearly, putting the next premiere around late 2026. However, this is just an estimate at this time.

Who will be back to star in The Forsytes season 2?
