Isla Fisher is ready to welcome some holiday crashers.
Isla Fisher, known for her role in Wedding Crashers, shared that she has definite plans for the holidays with her three children and her former husband, Sacha Baron Cohen.
Isla recently shared with TopMob News at the New York City premiere of Now You See Me: Now You Don’t that her entire family is traveling to see her – some coming all the way from Greece, and others from London.
At 49, she’s ideally set up to host the holidays. She recently shared how fulfilling it’s been to rebuild her life emotionally following her divorce from the actor known for Borat in June, and part of that new beginning involved moving into a new home in London.
Isla, who recently ended her twenty-year relationship with Sasha in April 2024, says she’s embracing a quieter life. In a November 12th interview with Elle Decoration, she explained she no longer feels the need to host parties. Instead, she finds joy in simple pleasures like relaxing in a candlelit bath with her laptop and a Netflix show, calling it ‘as exciting as it gets.’
The star of Now You See Me, who rejoined the third movie after having to sit out the second due to her pregnancy with her now 10-year-old son, is happy to talk about this new chapter in her life, but she’s determined to keep one subject private.
Isla, who also has two daughters aged 18 and 15, shared with Marie Claire Australia in May 2021 that she generally keeps her experiences as a mother private, as it’s a topic she deeply cares about. She believes all parents want to shield their children, particularly given the prevalence of social media.

As a parent, what I want most is for my kids to have a typical, carefree childhood – the kind where they can just play outside without feeling like they’re being watched or judged. I truly believe every child deserves that simple joy, and I would never exploit my own children for publicity, whether it’s through a movie or a magazine story. Their privacy and well-being are far more important to me than any potential career gain.

Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher first met in the early aughts at a party in Sydney, Australia.
Sacha Baron Cohen described a moment with Isla Fisher, telling The New York Times in October 2020 that they immediately connected at a fancy party by playfully making fun of the other guests. He felt an instant connection, though he wasn’t sure if she felt the same way.

The duo got engaged in 2004.

In March 2010, the Wedding Crashers actress and the comedian tied the knot in Paris.

Isla and Sacha share three children together.

In December 2021, Isla shared a series of photos on Instagram with a heartfelt message marking 20 years of something special. She quoted Winnie the Pooh, writing, ‘If we ever can’t be together, please remember me always – I’ll live on in your heart forever.’

In April 2024, the couple announced on Instagram that after more than twenty years together, and following their divorce filing in 2023, they are officially ending their relationship.

In June 2025, the former couple announced their divorce was finalized. In a joint statement on Instagram, they said they were proud of everything they had accomplished as a couple and would continue to be friends, maintaining mutual respect and a commitment to co-parenting their children.
