Lisa Vanderpump will SURve up a dose of reality to one of her employees.
The Vanderpump Rules star hinted at drama coming in the show’s new season, saying someone who works for her won’t keep their job for very long – less than two episodes, in fact. She also noted that she rarely fires people, so this situation is unusual.
She told TopMob News’ Will Marfuggi that she firmly believes in giving people, even those close to her, another opportunity. ‘Everyone makes mistakes,’ she explained, ‘it’s just part of being human.’
The woman, age 65, explained that she would immediately dismiss new hires who made significant mistakes within their first couple of days if she didn’t see any promise. However, she takes a different approach with employees who have been with the company for a longer time.
She explained that because people like Marcus Johnson have been with the company for a long time, she’ll give them a chance to correct any mistakes. She intends to give everyone the same opportunity.
The restaurant owner explained that she’s understanding of people she believes in. She said, “I look for potential in others, and if they make a mistake, that’s alright. Everyone makes mistakes.”
Lisa, who has been married to Ken Todd for 43 years and shares children Pandora, 39, and Max, 33, with him, understands that as a business owner, her priority is to ensure customers have a great experience. Her restaurant, Wolf, was recently recognized as one of the top 25 in the country, and while she usually receives positive feedback, she acknowledges that expectations are a bit higher at SUR.

She described the situation as strange, explaining that people were entering what was essentially a movie set, even though it felt real to her.
However, that doesn’t mean that the cast isn’t doing an actual job at the restaurant.
“Everyone’s putting in a lot of effort,” the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shared. “And we’re going to film everything that happens.”
The reality star was excited about season 12 of Vanderpump Rules, saying it felt like a fresh start with a new cast. But don’t worry, many familiar faces from VPR are still appearing on Bravo in The Valley.
Lisa explained that many young people in Hollywood are striving for success, but often make mistakes along the way. She also noted that this group has a strong bond, as they’ve collaborated for several years.

She was especially enthusiastic because she wasn’t simply assembling a cast; she was building something more meaningful with the show.
She pointed out that you can see the connections between everyone. But, like the song says, these people are enjoying the prime of their lives – their 20s or early 30s – with a relaxed, easygoing attitude. That’s something we lost towards the end of the show Vanderpump Rules.
Vanderpump Rules returns Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
Get ready for the new season and meet the fresh faces joining the SUR crew – they’re here to spill all the tea!

This season of Vanderpump Rules promises plenty of drama as the long-time group of friends, rivals, and romantic interests who work at Lisa Vanderpump’s SUR restaurant face new challenges. Even with updated uniforms and some new staff members, the relationships remain as complicated and messy as ever.

Demy Selem has managed SUR restaurant for seven years, making her the most experienced member of the team. She understands everything about how the restaurant and its staff operate. While Demy is focused and professional at work, being in charge creates challenges for her friendships, particularly with Natalie. She’s trying to balance being a boss with staying close to her friends and colleagues.

Shayne Davis finds himself caught up in all the drama at SUR, despite not being an employee there. He’s committed to staying sober, but still enjoys a social life. Between his acting, improv, and screenwriting projects, Shayne is very busy, but always makes time for dating. He’s juggling interest from several women at SUR and might end up creating some unexpected complications.

Venus Binkley considers himself the person who keeps the staff at SUR connected, offering both a listening ear and the latest news. Although he feels like an outsider in the West Hollywood dating world, his friends push him to try new things. When a conflict arises between Marcus, Kim, and Natalie, Venus gets caught in the middle and has to choose a side, abandoning his attempts at staying neutral.

Jason Cohen is an optimistic actor who works as a server at SUR, where he’s become a favorite among both staff and customers. Known for his charming personality and good looks, he’s caught the attention of several women and put many of the men at ease. He’s very close to his cousin, Chris, who also works at SUR – the two have been inseparable since they were kids. When he’s not in acting class or at work, Jason tries to start a relationship with a coworker, but his efforts don’t go as planned.

Chris Hahn, Jason’s cousin, has lived in Los Angeles for three years and currently works as a bartender at SUR. He originally moved to LA to pursue acting, but now focuses on music, hoping SUR will help him reach his goals. Chris is single and hoping to find a serious relationship. When he begins dating Audrey, their plans for a future trip create some tension.

Audrey Lingle is instantly likable with her friendly and approachable personality, making her a favorite among almost everyone she works with. Recently single, she’s enjoying dating and pursuing her acting dreams. But when a mysterious and somewhat troubled coworker catches her attention, she might find herself falling for someone unexpected.

Marcus Johnson has been a long-time employee at SUR, but he’s been finding it hard to concentrate on work and his relationship with his girlfriend, Kim, since his parents passed away. He’s relying on his close friends, Venus and Shayne, for support as he tries to cope. Marcus is now focusing on a fresh start, pursuing his passion for DJing and spending more time socializing. However, it remains to be seen whether these new priorities will bring him closer to Kim or create distance between them.

Kim Suarez balances working at SUR with pursuing her dreams of a career in entertainment, all while navigating a complicated relationship with her boyfriend, Marcus. She starts to worry about how their rocky romance might impact her job when her friends get involved.

Natalie Maguire has been the lead bartender at SUR for two years and is hoping to become bar manager. However, Lisa’s recent emotional reaction might stand in her way. Natalie and Lisa started working at SUR together and have been close friends ever since. Natalie is also seriously pursuing a career as a pop singer, and her active dating life often causes drama with her friends.

Angelica Jensen recently joined the SUR team and quickly became a source of drama. She’s pursuing a career in modeling and acting, and also seems interested in getting to know Jason and Shayne, but miscommunication could jeopardize any potential relationships.
