DWTS’ Robert Irwin Receives Finale Gift From Xochitl Gomez

Xochitl Gomez didn’t need to travel through the dimensions of the multiverse for this meet-up.

Just hours before Robert Irwin was crowned the winner of season 34 of Dancing With the Stars on November 25th, the actress from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness visited his dressing room with a bouquet of flowers.

Xochitl gave him a bouquet of pale pink roses, delicate baby’s breath, and soft green leaves, then they shared a warm hug, according to photos published by TMZ.

Robert playfully kicked his right leg, and his friend from Raven’s Home had a wonderful time, laughing so much she tilted her head back. It seemed like they were on the same wavelength, as they both wore black during their conversation.

Xochitl publicly congratulated Robert and Witney Carson after their win, sharing on her Instagram Stories, “I am so incredibly proud of you two. What a season!”

Ever since 21-year-old Robert danced with the Marvel star on November 11th during a special 20th-anniversary episode of the dance competition—where the star won with professional dancer Val Chmerkovskiy—fans have wondered if there was something more than friendship between them.

Robert and Xochitl, both 19, impressed everyone with their close and energetic jive to Olly Murs’ “Dance with Me Tonight.” They performed this during a dance competition against Alix Earle and Joey Graziadei, who won season 33 of the show.

Despite speculation about a romantic connection, Robert didn’t bother addressing the rumors. He simply avoided answering a question about his relationship with the other person.

He told TMZ they had an amazing time dancing with Xochitl. He described the experience as a lot of fun, noting the contrast between a slow, emotional dance and the energetic, joyful one with Xochitl. He praised her, saying she’s fantastic and that the whole experience has been wonderful.

Robert didn’t say whether or not he and the other person were dating, but he did talk about how well they work together.

Robert recently told Deadline that Xochitl brings incredible energy, fun, and passion to their partnership. He explained they share a similar approach to the jive, prioritizing enjoyment before focusing on technical details like pointed toes, with Witney’s help.
