Since it began, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has become incredibly popular and one of the most successful movie franchises ever created. The first major storyline, known as the Infinity Saga, proved how ambitious and thrilling the MCU could be, and the franchise continued to thrive with a new storyline called the Multiverse Saga. While some fans think the movies haven’t been as good since Avengers: Endgame, others believe they’re still fantastic. Although the MCU isn’t universally praised like it once was, it still consistently delivers memorable and impressive scenes.
The Multiverse Saga has delivered some fantastic Marvel stories and introduced memorable characters. However, the sheer scale of the multiverse concept sometimes overshadows these highlights. As the franchise has grown, many impressive MCU moments have been overlooked, resulting in great scenes that don’t get the attention they deserve.
7) Natasha & Yelena’s Reunion – Black Widow (2021)

Despite appearing in several Marvel movies, Black Widow’s solo film provided some of her most memorable scenes. The movie quickly reunites her with her sister, Yelena, leading to a physically intense fight. This brawl is brilliantly choreographed, showcasing the skills of two of the MCU’s best fighters. While it’s a standout action sequence, it often gets overshadowed because the personal consequences aren’t as high as in other MCU battles.
6) Spider-Man’s Identity is Revealed – Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019)

Revealing Spider-Man’s secret identity isn’t the biggest problem with the movies, but the way it happened in Spider-Man: Far From Home felt particularly significant. Coming right after Avengers: Endgame, the film was at a turning point in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the impact of Mysterio revealing Peter Parker’s identity from beyond the grave seems to have been somewhat forgotten. It was a shocking twist with huge potential for future stories, but it hasn’t gotten the attention it deserves.
5) The Guardians’ Hallway Fight – Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023)

Marvel movies are known for their incredible fight scenes, and one recent standout doesn’t get the attention it deserves. The extended hallway fight in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is truly epic, brilliantly showcasing each Guardian’s fighting style. It’s a single, continuous shot set to a fantastic Beastie Boys song, and it’s surprisingly overlooked when people discuss the best Marvel action sequences.
4) Sentry Easily Beats The Thunderbolts – Thunderbolts* (2025)

Sentry is arguably one of the most powerful characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and his recent appearance in Thunderbolts really highlighted that. In a quick but impressive scene, he single-handedly defeated the entire Thunderbolts team. It was a fantastic introduction, showcasing both his immense power and the potential threat he poses – a truly memorable MCU moment that hasn’t gotten enough attention.
3) The Scarlet Witch in the Mirror Dimension – Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness features an epic showdown between Doctor Strange and the Scarlet Witch, two of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s strongest magic users. Their first direct battle involves Strange trapping Wanda in the Mirror Dimension, creating a visually stunning and memorable scene that showcases the extent of both their powers. However, Wanda quickly escapes Strange’s control, concluding a particularly impressive and visually striking moment in the MCU.
2) The Eternals Face Ikaris – Eternals (2021)

The 2021 Marvel film Eternals wasn’t a huge hit with audiences or critics after the release of Endgame. While its ambitious scope and large cast may have been part of the reason, it also meant some of the movie’s strongest scenes didn’t get the attention they deserved. One example is the powerful fight between the Eternals and Ikaris, which features impressive visual effects. Despite being a highlight of the film, this scene hasn’t received much discussion.
1) Shang-Chi’s Final Battle – Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021)

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is a standout film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Multiverse Saga. It expertly blends the MCU’s fantastical elements with thrilling martial arts action, culminating in an amazing final battle where Shang-Chi fights both his father and the formidable Dweller-in-Darkness. This large-scale, exciting sequence embodies everything that makes the MCU so enjoyable, and it deserves more recognition as one of the franchise’s strongest recent highlights.
