PlayStation is likely bringing one of its critically acclaimed exclusive games to PC. PlayStation is known for high-quality first-party titles – their consoles are popular partly because of impressive, story-driven single-player games. While not every game lives up to expectations, PlayStation has a history of creating beloved classics like Uncharted, The Last of Us, God of War, and Marvel’s Spider-Man. For a long time, PlayStation consoles were the only way to play these games, but recently, that’s started to change.
PlayStation has been releasing many of its popular games on PC, usually a year or two after they first appear on PlayStation consoles. This strategy likely aims to attract PC gamers and encourage them to buy a PlayStation to play future games or sequels as soon as they’re released. One of the standout PlayStation titles is Death Stranding 2. The latest game from Hideo Kojima improves upon the original with more action and a compelling story. It’s an excellent game, and it looks like even more people will have the chance to experience it soon.
Death Stranding 2 Leaked for PC
The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has rated Death Stranding 2 for PC, which usually happens when a game is close to being released. A game needs to be fully finished before it can be rated, and while the PlayStation 5 version came out earlier this year, it’s rare for a PC version to be rated unless a release is planned soon. This suggests PlayStation might announce the PC version at The Game Awards, where the game is nominated for Game of the Year, or during an upcoming PlayStation State of Play event.

It’s worth noting that Sony is handling the publishing of this version directly. While 505 Games published the original Death Stranding on PC, that was before Sony started regularly bringing its games to PC. The first game eventually came to Xbox, but it’s unclear if Death Stranding 2 will follow suit. Regardless, these kinds of listings are usually accurate, suggesting an announcement is likely coming soon. A surprise release on PC is also a possibility, though not guaranteed.
