TikTok Chef Tineke “Tini” Younger Shares One of Her Twin Babies Died

Tineke “Tini” Younger is mourning a terrible loss.

The popular cooking personality announced the heartbreaking loss of one of her twin baby daughters, sharing that her and husband Antoine Wright Jr.’s little girl has passed away.

I still can’t believe I’m even writing this, especially after the twins arrived. It’s with the heaviest heart that I have to share we lost our sweet baby Arya – Baby A – earlier this week. We were SO close to 36 weeks, almost done and ready to finally meet both girls! But then I had a placenta abruption, and… and we lost her. It just feels impossible.

Let me tell you, things took a bit of an unexpected turn with our second daughter’s birth. The placenta unexpectedly separated from my uterus before she arrived – it’s called an abruption, and it can be scary! Thankfully, she’s doing wonderfully now and breathing beautifully on her own. We’re so relieved and overjoyed!

Tini added that both girls are beautiful and Arya will always be remembered fondly. She also said her sister will learn she has a twin, and a very beautiful one at that.

The 24-year-old woman, who chose not to reveal her daughter’s name, said she’s stepping away from social media to mourn. She added that she plans to return eventually, though she doesn’t know when.

Since gaining popularity on social media for her incredible cooking abilities as a former contestant on Next Level Chef, she’s shared updates with her followers about her relationship with Antoine – including their engagement, wedding, and now, as they start a family.

Tini and Antoine, who got married in November 2024, shared the exciting news in July that they are expecting twin girls. They were both surprised by the announcement, as they had previously believed they were having sons.

In a TikTok video, the couple excitedly opened a box filled with bright pink balloons, revealing they were expecting two daughters. They celebrated by jumping up and down, and Antoine playfully spun Tini around.

So, it was only fitting that when she announced her pregnancy, she did with a cooking tutorial.

Tini announced in the June video that they were going to bake something, specifically mentioning they needed Antoine’s assistance because it was a task best done with two people.

While preparing the dough, Tini playfully suggested that the number two was significant, repeating the idea several times during the video. When she looked at the bun baking in the oven, she unexpectedly showed off a sign that said “Bun in the Oven 2025,” hinting at a possible due date.

“Wait a minute, that’s incorrect,” Tini said, then proudly announced she was expecting twins with a new sign that read: “Two babies on the way in 2025.”

Tini announced the exciting news on Instagram with a cute photo of her and Antoine holding baby shirts that said “sous-chefs.” She captioned the picture, “2 sous chefs on the way!”
