Kit Green is starting to understand the connection between Becky Swain and DI Costello.
Here’s everything happening in Weatherfield between Monday 8th and Friday 12th December.
7 Coronation Street spoilers
1. Maggie Driscoll’s past is explored in a special flashback episode

It’s Maggie’s birthday, but she’s distracted by unresolved issues from her past and a feeling of underlying tension.
This week’s episode is a flashback that reveals the history of the Driscoll family and explains how Maggie became so strong and capable!
Amid her feud with Eva, we’ll be left wondering what she could be capable of…
2. Kit Green finds damning evidence to support his Becky Swain and DI Costello theory

Kit went to see Costello at Weathy General and learned Costello was planning to retire to the Lake District. When Kit told Lisa and Becky about it, he noticed Becky seemed uneasy.
Why did she seemingly know about it, and they didn’t?
Kit later tells Carla he’s worried, but they can’t find any evidence to support their suspicion that Costello and Becky are collaborating. As he’s leaving, Kit accidentally runs into Becky and asks her to tell Lisa that Carla is at the factory, drinking alone.
However, as Carla pours herself another, Becky arrives and closes the door behind her.
The following day, Costello’s wife came to collect his belongings and showed Kit a photo of the house they’d purchased in Coniston, called ‘Ravensgill’. Kit investigated and discovered the house had been bought by a company just a week after Becky’s supposed death.

Carla came home to Lisa and confessed she regretted Lisa ever leaving, telling her she’s always loved her.
Lisa admits she feels the same way, but believes their relationship can’t be saved – it’s finished.
3. Lauren Bolton notices something strange about Will Driscoll

After trying to kiss Lauren, Will is forced to apologise. To his relief, she plays it down.
Later that day, she went to the police station and saw him talking to Megan. He was deeply apologetic about the kiss, telling her how sorry he was.
Has Lauren realised what is going on?
4. Debbie Webster deeply offends brother Kevin

Oh my gosh, I was so embarrassed for Debbie when she told us she’d accidentally booked the wedding venue for 2027 instead of next year! She was worried she might not even be well enough to get married by then, but Carl and Abi immediately jumped in to help her find a different place. It’s so good to see them all supporting each other.
She’s overjoyed when they reveal Monkton Hall has had a cancellation in three weeks time.
Okay, so things really start to heat up here. She’s finally ready to ask this couple to her wedding, which feels like a huge moment after all the tension. But Ronnie, ever the voice of reason, warns her it might not be the best idea. And then, boom – Kevin overhears the plan and just completely rejects the invitation, tossing it right back at her. Honestly, it’s a pretty dramatic scene, and you can feel the fallout coming a mile away.
5. Tim Metcalfe worries he’s setting Joanie and Shanice Michaelis up for disappointment

Sally and Tim are throwing a party for Joanie’s friends and are making a large spread of food. They also promised Joanie they’d try to arrange a visit with Lou on Christmas Day.
However, Tim is concerned that the kids will be disappointed if the prison doesn’t allow visitors.
6. Gary Windass hears a crash coming from Todd Grimshaw and Theo Silverton’s flat

George and Christina had an honest conversation about Todd, and Christina pointed out that it’s clear they both still have feelings for each other and should consider trying to fix things.
The next day, Gary told them he’d heard a crash from inside Todd and Theo’s apartment.
7. Shona Platt makes a bold move that stuns David

David was surprised and a little uncomfortable to come home and find a baby shower in full swing. Shona had organized it while he was away, and he wasn’t quite prepared for it.
Because their baby is very fragile, he thinks the party isn’t a good idea and tells everyone how he feels.
