Xbox Game Pass has added what is likely to be its last big game of 2025. This year has been fantastic for Game Pass, with many new games available to play on the day they were released. Titles like Ninja Gaiden 4, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, DOOM: The Dark Ages, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 all launched directly onto the service, making it potentially the best year yet for the subscription. While fewer new games are expected in the coming weeks, one standout title has just been added for December.
The new game Marvel Cosmic Invasion is now available, and it’s included with Xbox Game Pass! From the creators of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, this classic beat ‘em up lets you play as Marvel heroes like Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Venom, and Silver Surfer to stop the villain Annihilus. You can play Cosmic Invasion on most gaming platforms, and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can enjoy it on both Xbox consoles and PC.
This Is a Must-Play for Game Pass Subscribers
I’ve played all of Marvel Cosmic Invasion and really enjoyed it! It’s a great game for Marvel fans, but it’s also a fantastic co-op experience, especially if you want to play with a friend or family member on the same couch. Plus, it’s short – you can finish it in just a couple of hours – making it a perfect addition to the Game Pass library.
Currently, Marvel Cosmic Invasion looks like it will be the biggest game added to Xbox Game Pass in 2025, but Microsoft might still have a few unannounced titles. While we don’t know the complete list of December’s Game Pass additions yet, it’s doubtful anything else will be as significant as Cosmic Invasion.
