Lots of people buy Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 consoles because they love Nintendo games like Mario and The Legend of Zelda, which you can only play on Nintendo systems. However, the Switch 2 is also attracting more role-playing games. Many players enjoy relaxing with casual or laid-back RPGs on the go, and the charming indie game Cinnabunny – a cozy 3D RPG life sim – is a great match for that experience. Luckily, Cinnabunny is coming to the Switch family of consoles soon!
The charming game Cinnabunny first launched on PC in February 2025. It’s a delightful mix of relaxing exploration, a baking simulation, and some simple role-playing features. Fans, including myself, have been eagerly waiting for it to come to the Nintendo Switch, as it seems like a perfect fit for the console. Thankfully, Reky Studios announced on December 11th that Cinnabunny will be released on Switch, and will also be playable on the upcoming Switch 2.
New Cozy Game Headed to Switch is Perfect For Winter Gaming

Let me introduce you to Cinnabunny, a charming life simulation game! You create your own adorable rabbit character and set out to find a new home for your family. You’ll use your baking talents to earn money and make the big move possible. It’s similar to Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley, but even more heartwarming. While the game has overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam, it hasn’t gotten as much attention as it deserves, likely because it’s only available on that platform.
I’m totally hooked on Cinnabunny! It’s a really sweet game where you get to cook, farm, and even level up your skills a bit like an RPG. You basically build up the town and get better at baking, which is super satisfying. And honestly, it’s adorable – the 3D graphics are so cute and cozy, it’s just a really feel-good game for anyone. I’ve been playing it by myself, but it’s also fun that you can play with a friend locally!
Many players have been hoping this game would come to the Nintendo Switch, and now it’s finally happening! If you thought this game would be perfect for the Switch, you’re right.

Since its release on Steam, Cinnabunny has received several updates, with developer Reky Studios consistently adding new features and improvements, including popular farming sim elements like seasonal events. Now, the game is coming to Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Switch 2, and will include all previously released updates, giving players the most complete experience right from the start. Reky Studios currently has no plans to release Cinnabunny on any platforms other than Steam and Nintendo.
You can now play Cinnabunny on PC through Steam. It will also be available on Nintendo Switch and the new Switch 2 starting December 11th. The game costs $24.99 on all platforms.
