For years, Scheana Shay pumped the brakes on speaking out about her husband Brock Davies‘ affair.

In her forthcoming memoir titled “My Good Side“, the former star of “Vanderpump Rules” disclosed that Brock had been unfaithful during her pregnancy, which resulted in their now 4-year-old daughter, Summer Moon.

So, why did she wait so long to share her truth? 

On the Fourth of July episode of my Scheananigans podcast, when asked about the most surprising revelation from my book, I confessed, “I’ve been petrified.” The reason being, if I divulge my true struggles, there’s a risk that others might perceive me as attempting to divert focus away from someone else’s ordeal and onto my own story.

The 40-year-old went on to say, ‘My forthcoming book will spotlight my experiences, revealing aspects of my story I’ve kept private until this point. For the first time, it will be told through my perspective and in a manner that reflects my own control over the narrative.’

Initially, Scheana kept quiet about the fact that she wrote about Brock’s affair in her book. Yet, she hinted that numerous readers would find themselves taken aback by the revelations found within its contents.

She stated, “Many assume they’ve grasped every aspect of my personality, but finishing this book will undeniably enlighten you, for currently, you are entirely uninformed about me. I guarantee it.

As reported by Scheana, her husband, who had been married for nearly four years, admitted to his infidelity in the year 2023. This confession followed public revelations that their co-star, Tom Sandoval, had been unfaithful to his longtime partner Ariana Madix with Raquel Leviss.

She had invested a lot of time battling her anxiety and reassuring herself that Tom’s infidelity towards Ariana didn’t imply Brock would be unfaithful to me, as she put in an excerpt from ‘My Good Side’, published by Glamour on July 10. However, I was soon discovering how incorrect my assumptions were.

In that moment, she confessed that his fear of becoming a father once more had left him queasy, and instead of addressing it, he opted to sleep with another person.

As a dedicated follower, I recall Brock, who is a father to two children from a past relationship, shared with me a letter he had penned following his separation from the other woman. In this letter, he disclosed specific details about the number of times they had been intimate, the locations where their encounters occurred, and the places where they hadn’t.

After reading it, it was quite sufficient for me, she remembered. I instructed him to throw it straight into the flames right away. I have no desire to ever lay my eyes on those words again.

Brock decided to stop his affair because he understood that he was squandering another opportunity for a family by being unfaithful, and promised never to betray Scheana again.

The pair married in August 2021, four months after welcoming their daughter.

It’s important to remember that the entire series originated from Scheana Shay’s affair with actor Eddie Cibrian, who was married to Brandi Glanville, a former star of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. While Brandi was pregnant with their second child, Scheana began dating him. The dramatic confrontation between these two women at SUR, orchestrated by Lisa Vanderpump, marked the transition from an episode of RHOBH to Vanderpump Rules, making it one of the sneakiest and messiest crossovers ever!

In contrast to his claims of fidelity during the entire first season, Jax Taylor eventually confessed in the final episode that indeed, he had been unfaithful to Stassi Schroeder. Specifically, this infidelity took place in Las Vegas and resulted in another woman becoming pregnant.

The revelation left both Stassi and the other cast members, who had previously supported and stood by him during their breakup, utterly astonished.

In the second season, one of the scandalous relationships unfolded when Jax admitted to sleeping with Stassi’s close friend, Kristen Doute, who was in a relationship with Jax’s best friend, Tom Sandoval.

Initially denying the allegation, Kristen eventually acknowledged they had a non-kissing encounter during the final episode. Interestingly, this happened as they were watching the movie Drive starring Ryan Gosling, with Tom dozing off in another room. This incident led to Stassi slapping Kristen and Tom punching Jax, an event now synonymous with Stassi’s memorable slap.

Seasons later, Kristen later admitted to cheating on Tom throughout their six-year relationship.

Following Ariana Madix’s entry into the cast during the second season, I, as a dedicated observer, noticed Kristen harboring suspicions about Tom’s friendship with his fellow bartender. Despite their repeated denials that anything romantic had transpired between them while Tom was dating Kristen, Ariana famously asserted, “I’m more intelligent than you. I’m more attractive than you. Just get over it,” during an exchange that left many unsettled. However, it wasn’t until the season two reunion that Tom finally admitted to sharing a kiss with Ariana in a pool while they were both in Las Vegas.

When Andy Cohen inquired whether she had concerns about Tom’s past indiscretions after he admitted to cheating on Kristen several times, Ariana replied, “I’ve been acquainted with him for three years and I know him quite well. It doesn’t bother me in the least.” (A gentle sigh.)

In the third season, Kristen disclosed that a woman contacted her through Instagram, stating she had spent time with Tom when he was in Miami with Jax and Schwartz. This “Miami Girl” was later introduced at SUR to confront Tom about these allegations. However, Ariana didn’t find the accusation credible after Tom strongly denied it, and the couple chose to leave the situation unaddressed.

In that moment, it appeared as if Jax betrayed his friend by supporting the allegation. Following their split in 2023, Jax – who departed the show in 2020 – posted an enigmatic message on Twitter.

He penned, “On that program, I’ve often stated things many found hard to accept. Yet, whatever I assert seems to always prove accurate.

Following their marriage in 2016, Tom Schwartz admitted to sharing a drunken kiss with one of Lala Kent’s acquaintances during the sixth season.

When asked about the incident, Schwartz recalled his memory as hazy. In a 2018 episode, he stated, “I can’t believe it. No, it couldn’t have happened.” He added, “I do remember going to The Bungalow, but I am positive I didn’t kiss anyone. I was extremely drunk that night, yes, I recall that.

Later on, Schwartz explains his actions in a private reflection, saying, “I’m genuinely puzzled by what I did.

However, Schwartz had previously kissed another woman while intoxicated in season three, which was not his first instance of infidelity when under the influence.

After 12 years together, Katie and Schwartz announced their breakup in March 2022. 

In a 2014 episode, Jax accused Katie of infidelity by “motorboating” an unidentified man, which he learned from Scheana. This accusation made Katie extremely angry and Scheana later apologized to her colleague for the incident.

Scheana clarified on Bravo’s blog that she never accused anyone of cheating, but instead shared her observations. After discussing it with Katie, Scheana now believes the situation was misunderstood. When Katie leaned down to remove her shoes, it appeared as if her head was in a certain area. Additionally, when Katie was dancing while drunk and moving her head back and forth, it seemed like she was ‘grinding’ on a man. However, Katie did not cheat; Scheana felt that Katie overstepped a boundary.

After thorough investigation, such as examining Uber bills, Kristen came to the conclusion that her boyfriend James Kennedy had been unfaithful to her with one of Scheana’s friends during season four. He denied it directly to her, merely suggesting they might have shared a kiss, but later confessed in an interview, “In reality, Jenna and I were definitely involved romantically.” And thus, a fresh iconic .GIF was created!

Moreover, it wasn’t just that incident where James was unfaithful to Kristen. In fact, the DJ had romantic liaisons with Lala (who thought he was single) and Lauren, who was in a committed relationship with another SUR employee, all while he was working at the restaurant.

Following his split with Kristen, James started seeing Raquel Leviss, a student and beauty pageant contestant, in the fifth season. Shortly after, rumors of infidelity surfaced when Scheana and Kristen unexpectedly showed up at one of James’ DJ performances along with three former SUR employees who all alleged they had slept with him while he was dating Raquel; they even managed to snap photos of him sleeping during the encounter.

In a turn of events, James refuted all the women’s accounts about him and carried on dating Raquel. However, their engagement lasted only five years, ending in 2021. After parting ways, James eventually admitted to having had an affair with Lala towards the start of his relationship with Raquel.

In an interview with TopMob News in February, Raquel admitted, “I used to be quite innocent and I believed James had never been unfaithful to me. However, I’ve come to realize now that he did cheat on me numerous times. It was a difficult truth to accept.

In 2017, yet another instance of dishonesty marked Jax’s year as he confessed to having an affair with a previous SUR waitress named Faith Stowers. Although he had initially denied it in the premiere of season six, he eventually admitted the truth when his girlfriend, Brittany Cartwright, confronted him while he was wearing a Taco Bell sweatshirt.

Jax admitted in a private conversation that this wasn’t his first instance of being caught dishonestly, and he’s experienced lengthy periods of denial in the past, only for it to be ineffective. He explained that he and Brittany were going through a difficult time (as portrayed in their 2017 spinoff, Jax & Brittany Take Kentucky) which pushed him towards Faith.

Undeniably, when Jax confessed, Brittany was left heartbroken and retorted with her well-known “May you rot in hell!” remark. At first, Brittany decided to end things with Jax, but they soon made up and tied the knot in June 2019. Two years after their marriage, they were blessed with their son named Cruz.

In a surprising turn of events on March 3, 2023, the Bravo Cinematic Universe was rocked when news broke out that Tom and Ariana had called it quits after nine years together. The reason for their split was further complicated by the disclosure that Tom had been involved in a seven-month relationship with Raquel.

In a heartfelt apology on Instagram posted on March 8th, one of the co-owners admitted to making mistakes, acting selfishly, and making rash decisions that caused harm to someone dear to them. No one should ever have to endure such intense and humiliating pain in this manner.

He expressed remorse, saying, ‘I deeply regret having let down Ariana. It was never my intention to cause disappointment among so many, such as our cherished loved ones and friends.’

Apart from apologizing publicly to Ariana, Raquel admitted there was “no justification” for her behavior, expressing regret in a subsequent statement about the state of her relationship with Tom moving forward.

In her statement to TopMob News, Raquel expressed that she is focusing on prioritizing her health, personal development, and embracing solitude at the moment. She also conveyed her affection for Tom, preferring not to define their relationship or speculate about the future. Currently, her main concern is healing herself.

In the 2025 memoir titled “My Good Side”, Scheana disclosed that her spouse had been unfaithful to her in 2020, while she was carrying their child, Summer Moon, by revealing an affair with an old friend.

One day, when I was at home, expecting our baby, Brock headed to his job at the F45 Training East Hillcrest in San Diego. It turned out that he encountered her outside. She then explained how they rekindled their relationship, and later on, he admitted that they had a short-lived affair.

Brock later came clean about his cheating during 2023’s Scandoval controversy.

In her post, Scheana shared that he acknowledged he was squandering his second opportunity for a family by stepping away and vowed never to deceive her again. Furthermore, she noted that their relationship had been strictly physical, devoid of any emotional attachment, and he consistently practiced safe sex.
